I purchased two rain coats (gortex) for well over a hundred dollars each. They no longer keep me dry, so figuring their policy full guarantee...period....I took advantage of it, I actually wanted them replaced, but they are no longer carried. They couldn't find my records for the purchases, of course. So claimed they would reimburse me for the lowest sale price ever....which I believe was under 50.00. I will never shop with them again. All future shopping will be with llbean, where I know their guarantee is full....period. I do not reccommend this company to anyone, and yes their customer service is bad too. They just don't care whether their customers are happy or not.

Land's End customer service is the worst. I've ordered 55 backpacks from them in the past month for a non-profit project. When I called for a price adjustment after the price was further reduced the customer service person was rude and confrontational. I will never purchase from Land's End again.

i am so sad for what has happened to lands end. It used to be the example of great customer service. I ordered a product on 8/29. As of 9/8, it wasin richmond, Va where I live. The tracking says it went to the US Post Office at the Sender's request. Lands end says they have no idea what to do and tell me to contact the post office. As of 9/12, no package. They blame the hurricane. OK - so it's in richmond as of 9/8. There is NO damage left. Since sears bought it it has gone so downhill. so sad. I am really really disappointed. I've sent emails and tried to communicate. They are not helpful at all. I won't order again from them. Their products are just OK and I only ordered from them due to their excellent customer service. No more. Those days are GONE!

I ordered some stuff on july 21st and Items were not even shipped till July 26th. When I call them every time was told that it was shipped today and gave me dummy ups ref number.
What a lousy company. This was my first time and definitely a last time ordering with LANDSEND.COM. I recommend others to stay away from this company and avoid their customer no service department.

Just got your most recent catalog. I am going to request the company stop sending. I am upper middle class and have been ordering from lands end for 20 years, but not anymore. I used to order alot of the products that were made in America, but you can not find a single item that was made in USA. I can afford to pay more fore quality and help keep Americans employed. You are like the US auto makers 20 years ago that sacrificed quality and loyalty for profits. I am an American and took the time to write a comment that should make a difference to a company that still barely has some legitimate name recognition but this email will probably never be read by someone who can make a difference.

They shippped my items to the wrong address. They were notified of the mistake by the person who received the shipment. No one contacted me. When I called them, they said I would have to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. Land End would not refund my money for the mistake they made. I called them several times about the problem and they refused to do anything other than this!
I call this some of the poorest customer service I've ever recieved from a company. I'll never order from them again and before this I thought they were a reputable company.
