I have never written a comment about a hotel and it's personnel in my forty years of travel but I had to write you about my stay at the Holiday Inn in Hasbrouck Heights NJ on rt 17. We( my wife and I) booked the weeks stay through priceline and in checking in were greeted by the most delightful woman, Joyce Skeahan, who immediately almost treated us like lost family members signing us up with priority club and giving us discounts at the restaurant which we used almost immediately. After the first nights sleep, my wife went to Joyce saying we needed a room with two beds and softer than the one we slept on. Joyce with a compassionate heart and a smile that never stops fixed us up without a problem and every time she saw us in what was a very busy and crowded hotel she always waved and asked if everything was alright. When we left she came from behind the counter and gave us a big hug which we wanted to give her anyway because of the great stay. But it wasn't just Joyce, it was everybody, from the guy vacuming the floor to the assistants on the desk and the maids cleaning the rooms. Everybody had a smile on their face and talked pleasantly to us wanting to meet our needs. My wife and I want to thank you again for such a wonderful crew of people that made our stay so delightful at a time when we had to attend the memorial of my parents deaths. I would hope that you would pass this note onto all of them, especially Joyce Skeahan. Thanks again, John and Ellen Shaw
