On Tuesday oct 26th I received an email about a PlayStation 5 bundle release/sale happening at 11am. I got on my phone and my desktop to have a better chance of purchasing one. The order went through on their website and I was charged $788 roughly for my purchase. Received email confirmation that the order was all set and was being shipped to my 5 year old address in NC. I live in PA not NC. Immediately started calling cust service to correct address. This took place a few times a day through Friday afternoon when I spoke with a young lady who recommended canceling the original order and placing a new one. Half hour later received an email from a gamestop that my order had shipped as the young lady had agreed to overnight it est delivery was Monday nov 1st by 8 pm. Saturday received another email that said something that weighed one pound had shipped and would be arriving Tuesday nov 2nd. Checked tracking # of actual PlayStation unit on Sunday it still had mon nov 1st as the delivery date. So I called monday 11/1 to confirm this was told it would for sure be there that evening my an agent and a supervisor. No delivery at 8pm check tracking number and it has changed from 8pm to end of day. 12am still no delivery but now the tracking number says delivery is pending. Called Tuesday got the run around about how they don't do overnight shipping on the weekends because FedEx will not pick them up. But my second package was picked up on Saturday in KY and delivered Tuesday. Called Wed 11/3 spoke with a young lady who shared my frustration gave me a partial refund and assured me she would get it moving and to call her back at 3pm. Called back got a gentleman on the phone who couldn't locate my agent from that morning. He listened to my concern and placed a new order again for a console to be shipped. Spoke with gentleman again last night who placed another order. Spoke with them this morning and still no PS5. What's it gonna take to get my PS5. It's been 9 days!!

Beware that if you return pre-owned games and you have the warranty they will not return your money for the warranty that you paid for. Also if you use your coupon they will not refund your money.

I bought a refurbished PS4 from GameStop for my brother's birthday. Within 2 months it stopped turning on. After a lot of pushing they finally agreed to replace the PS4 if he sent the broken one back. Within 4 months the replacement one has also broken. 2 broken consoles within 6 months is unacceptable and GameStop refused to help me saying it's outside of their 30 day window. I spent over $300 on this and expect the console to work longer than 4 months.

I returned a game with receipt only to be told they couldn't process my return without providing my address. No need to provide personal information, I had my receipt! The policy is not listed anywhere in the store either. I will be buying my games and accessories from somewhere else besides GameStop.
Now they can sell my info. Unacceptable

Stop being so aggressive and pushy at checkout. I have no interest in signing up for whatever it is you are trying to push me into signing up for. When a customer says No Thank You, or just NO...move along with the transaction. The employee continuously trying to sway us into signing up for the power rewards or whatever only further irritated and angered us customers who were NOT interested. Today, we told an employee at checkout No Thank You 4 times in a row! If my son hadn't been with me I would have lost my cool and told them to just keep the game and order it through Amazon or Best Buy. Plus, how in the world you get away with selling games as NEW at a NEW GAME price after you've opened it is beyond us! I'm done and I hope your stores go down the crapper.

I bought a pre-owned ps4 since my ps4 completely broke and I couldn't fix it. When I bought the pre-owned ps4 they told me everything worked fine and no problems so I decided that I was gonna buy it and. They told me it was 300 dollars and insane amount but it was fine since they didn't have any new ones in stock. I got home later today after work so I can play and downloaded some games and right after I opened a game it started overheating like crazy and it was so loud they could hear it from across the house. And they told me it was like if it was completely new so I'm gonna end up returning it later today but one think I learned is to never buy ore-owned items in GameStop

I purchased from gamestop at my grandsons request for a Xbox one S. We have purchased from gamestop in store but never tried their online purchase. This will be my last purchase from them in any form

GameStop sold me a pre-owned system that does not work!!! They will not replace it like I asked or send me my dang money back because they want you to ship it back when they should stop always getting over on people it's really sad asf I wouldn't buy nothing from GameStop they are just some scamming con artist rip offs . It's really sad y'all losing lots of customers because you wanna try and get over on everyone!!!!!!!

Waiting for refund know they say there a different email so the employee made mistake and know I haven't got a refund and when talk to them you get nowhere still no refund 4weeks because gamestop made a mistake I still got no refund

Being completely honest, gamestop is a GREAT Store for PHYSICALLY purchasing games and accessories. However in evolving virtual times their online accuracy and customer support is Horrid. You guys here think you waiting 5-6 days past expected delivery date is bad? I've been waiting for almost 1 entire YEAR for my order (naruto vs sasuke funko pop) it said it was in stock online and took at max 7 days for delivery. So I purchased it and was sent my conformation and all that jazz. A few days pass and I'm notified I'll be receiving my package a few days later. (No big deal it's the holidays so I understand) Again I'm notified it will arrive later than expected. It had passed 12 days at this point so I was a bit frustrated. I proceeded to contact customer support and was told "the item ordered is out of stock" By a barley English speaking individual and that I could either keep waiting or get a refund on the gift card used to purchase the item. WHO KEEPS THE GIFT CARDS??? so I told the assistant that it was lost and they told me it would take up to 3 WEEKS (21) days to receive a DIGITAL CODE for a gift card. Somehow they have managed to delete ALL the emails for my past and current orders. It's no fuss now. As the longer they stall, the better my payout will be. Keep it up gamestop I'll personally run you out of business. ;)

ordered 6 items on the 24th of February with express. they failed to get me all the items. i received two items called to demand a refund due to their lack of professionalism, and two major things. they forgot to include all the items as part of the return so now i have two refunds to wait on. and the other major thing is the customer service people are telling me basically im not getting my full refund back. according to them they get to keep the sales tax on items that never even made it to my state. Gamestops whole online system is a donkey show. robbed me of 30$ ima get it back no matter what i gotta do bet that. yall got physical stores too. yall wanna play i can too

My complaint is with the "new" xbox series s and x consoles. For one, there aren't any exclusives and might never be. Why make an identical console to the xbox one when we want something different. The controller is the same with a share button that they stole from playstation. The user interface is the same with an option to play Rocket League optimized. Is this the best they can do?

I went to GameStop for a new ps4 controller. We ask one of the employees if what they have displayed is all they carry. He said he could order from the warehouse if we wanted so we said yes. We left and everything was great until we realized it was pre-owned. This was never specified and the cost was about the same as a brand new controller he also wrote the email down wrong after we corrected him multiple times. We go back to the store 5 minutes later and the lady can't help us and our original cashier clocked out so she gives us the number for their customer service. Customer service says they can't help us and we need to do this in store! By the time that happened they were already closed. The customer service here is horrible i'm managed to cancel my order online asap but it sent an email to the incorrect email address. I am hoping I get a full refund and not a gift card because I am never shopping here again!!

so, I was purchasing a Nintendo switch lite and a copy of sword+the expansion pass. I was expecting it the next day which was the option of delivery. apparently the way it was going to be shipped was through door dash?? I don't know if they even do those types of deliveries, but I brushed it off. that same day the person was going to deliver it texted me telling that I needed to cancel my order bc they weren't coming to my area. I was ticked off because first, why didn't they sent another person? and I tired to cancel it but the order was too far in the process. so they left me hanging and now I had to pick it up at ANOTHER STATE which thankfully wasn't far but pretty far from where I live. I went there the next day and the items that I was supposed to pick up at GameStop apparently couldn't give me my order bc their systems were down and I was pissed. I was done chasing after them and called customer support for them to cancel my order. this is the worst experience in delivery I've ever had and now I think I'm done purchasing from the online ever again. I really do hope they refund my stuff or I'm gonna pull a Karen and raise hell.

On December 12, 2020 I went into the Gamestop Store to purchase the Oculus Quest 2 and was told it had to be shipped to me because they don't carry them in stores. I was charged in full and told it would arrive by 12/18. On 12/18 I received an email that my order would now arrive on 12/20. On 12/20 I received another email informing me of delivery on 12/25, knowing that this was not goingbto happen I decided to cut my losses and cancel the order. I called customer service and waited 45 minutes to speak to someone regarding a refund and was told I had to go bsck to the store I originally made the purchase to get a refund. I went back to the store on 12/22 and the store manager said he could not issue a refund and that Gamestop would automatically refund my money in 3-5 business day from the cancellation date (12/20). I called Gamestop today to check the status of my refund and I'm told that they will only issue the refund on a digital gift card and I then have to go back to the store to get cash from the gift card! By the way, the digital gift card will take 3-5 business days to arrive! It's digital, 3-5 business days! This is the most ridiculous process ever! Why didn't Gamestop just not charge my card until my order was ready to ship? Why can't they just issue a credit back to my credit card? WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT OVER 3 WEEKS FOR A REFUND FOR AN ITEM THAT WAS NEVER AVAILABLE?! Gamestop's refund policies need to be changed soon or unfortunately they may be the next chain to go out of business.

GameStop has ruined Christmas for a lot of people shipments they claimed shipped and they did not shipping information has not updated in 7 days and longer for others. Until the shipment moves GameStop claim s they cannot refund your money as long as there is tracking number. They have scammed people they do not respond to emails, phone calls when they do answer calls their rude and have no answers, and they do not respond to their hundreds of complaints on Facebook further more their hiding behind a e commerce company that handles the inventory and shipment unacceptable selling merchandise they do not have in stock,

I ordered Cyberpunk 2077 and 15 days of The Mandalorian socks, and they sent me two of the Mandalorian socks and charged me for the price of the game. Customer service is non existent and the bot that answers the phone just hangs up on me

i tried to returned UNOPENED cyberpunk 2077 discs and the store would not take them back. there should be no reason they can't take an unopened game back it's the store policy. anyone else have this issue?

I bought Cyberpunk 2077 for ps4 pro and wanted to return it 4 days after noticing the game was super undeveloped and I was told I can't return the game? I shouldn't have to keep a game thats crashes every hour and 4 days is nothing. I was only offered
a trade in for $25, that's 60% of what I paid for.. ridiculous.

Very disappointed with how the Playstation 5 drop was done today.. we were put into two lines one for Playstation and the other for Xbox. The Xbox customers went first and was informed they also were sold Playstation 5 infront of our line. Also was told that they had enough for customers infront of the second pillar however they didn't. But they were able to sell to customers that jus walked right into the store and bought the Playstation infront of the line.. then an hour later was told that they were all sold out, but not to customers in the Playstation line

I was a good customer of game stop until today The play station 5 was completely sold out which I understand I was informed a week ago they do not take special orders or names of customers who asked for one that it was just luck if you were there and they were in stock guess what I was there when a sales person told someone they got a shipment in today but their all spoken for I'm sure they were all spoken for by friends and family l am very disgusted with game stop being a customer for year and being lied to you just lost a super customer and gamer

Purchased xbox series X pro bundle. A lot of the bundle was trashed and I returned most. Games were given back. I wanted to return the expensive $150 headset that came in, but GameStop wouldn't take it. It's unopened and never touched. They claim for Covid-19 reasons which is bogus. I wanted a return for Xbox gift cards tbh.

So I had a problem with my xbox series X they offered to do a exchange for me but what they did is give me a refund on my open xbox series X and set within 2 weeks I should get my replacement are they supposed to give me my refund money do I take me on my xbox still in if they can't get me A replacement will I get my old xbox back I don't think they were supposed to refund my money cars now attacking me they don't have to obligate given me new xbox series X what would I do if they did not give me a new series X seen how I did not want a refund
