To whom it may concern,
My family and I went to eat at your new merced,California restaurant. The restaurant looked clean, and big. We have eaten at your restaurants several times and think the food is great. But in this case, we were very disappointed. Not in the food, because we ended up not eating there. It was the young man taken our order. He needs clarification or we do. We proceeded to order and when we were told with a meat order, that the pork rib only comes with one rib. Where the others come with 1/4 lb. I asked if he was mistaken and we were told no. That that's what they were instructed to do. My question for you is, is that true,? If so, We will not return, because like we told them, they are the only ones who do that. Who in their right mind is going to pay for a meat plate and get 1 pork rib? It seems like a complete rip off. Please let me know if costs are that tight for your company that you can only give that little for a portion.if that was a beef short rib, I would understand, but pork. Really? Thanks for your time. Unhappy in merced.

Tonight we went to the location on liberty, mo. We arrived at 8:40 and the store closes at 9:00, we walked up to the counter where you order stood there while a woman and a man were making food for customers in the drive thru we stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us while we were standing right in front of there faces when they did finally talk to us they were very short and rude. We walked up to pay the cashier again another rude girl. We sat ate our food as quickly as we could since they made us feel very uncomfortable by starting to turn of the TV's while we were watching them since the Royals were playing and pulling the deal off the back of the ice cream machine so we couldn't get ice cream. I understand people want to go home but there is no reason to be so rude.

To the Dickey's team, please note this review is so you get it right. Please send the right personnel to Bartonville and help them get this new location sorted out. I went in with my family on Sunday and we wait 43 minutes from when we walked in until we sat down. No joke, I will drive to Flower Mound and tell every neighbor how bad it was because you had 8 people on payroll that day and I watched so many "older/senior" personnel simply walk by and see how poorly run the front line was executing. Please take this honestly, the pit expert was apologizing, we watched 4 families leave the line, it was an apologetic moment and not a single person was accountable. As an aside, there were no pickles in the bucket, no jalapenos were an option...I am not a fan of this new store front idea that is running on the cheap!

I used to work at the Sanger location #694 which was shut down on the 7th of Jan. I'm trying to reach someone to ask why I haven't received my W2. None of the employees have actually. And as to why we haven't received our last paychecks, I'd appreciate it if someone could help me with this matter.

I received a promotional offer via email from the Mountain View California store. However, when I drove all the way to the store, I was told that they don't participate in the offer. I have had constant challenges at this location from poor food quality, poor management, inattention to customers and repetively not participating in offers. We have been loyal customers of Dickey for years in Dallas and other locations and have had great experiences. However, at this location, it is always a negative experience.

Our family have always been a loyal customer. We even had food catered last week for our mothers funeral services I am very disappointed by what I was told today when I ordered a pound of pulled pork a large order of Mac and cheese. I asked for regular sauce and spicy sauce. I was told I would be charged 4.95 for it. I asked to talk to the manager and was told to bad. It's not the money that upset me When you order fries from a restaurant they don't charge you for ketchup. We spend all this money for food and they try to take advantage of you. I regret we ordered food for our mothers funeral for them. If she only knew how we were treated. Our family will never order from them again. I feel sorry that you that need money that bad. We not mad were disappointed. I feel sorry for your company.

I would like to hear from your headquarters, not the local owner. Why do you allow a practice of the owner keeping the money placed in the tip basket? Tips are intended for the server employees not owners. This seems a deceptive practice. Do you have a code of ethics for your owners? This reflects poorly on your whole organization. i.e. "Dickeys, the place that takes the kids tips" . Really?? Olympia is a small town where reputation is a big deal. Please advise. Also you can email me a phone to call in if you like. Be well, your product is great.
ps your online feedback site does not work, it says verify your human but offers no way to do so.

I was ripped of at the Dickey's BBQ in Richardson. They charged me $12.45 for a beef sandwitch with 2 sides. It is usually $10.00. I augaured with the guy with on results. I will never go there again.
Another lost customer.

Visited Dickeys in Tulare, Ca this afternoon (Dec 5th). Dining room is dirty. Tables not clean. Front door has not been cleaned for quite awhile. Deep fryer and surrounding area (including floor) are filthy. Fall decorations scattered all over a table.

Only one other family and an older couple there when I arrived. Female employee came out from back to take order and then would disappear. Male employee came out to fill his drink cup and then disappeared. Any time anyone needed anything, they would have to wait for an employee to come up front.

Was excited to get this eatery in Tulare but don't think I will be returning until it is cleaned up and the employees are interested in providing the service for which they are paid.

I went to Dickies for the first time on October 25th in Commerce, Michigan, picked up a pulled pork sandwich, it was a to go order, I get home couldn't wait to give it a try, not alot of BBQ places around me, I bite into the sandwich bone, i took another bite another bone, and then another bone, so I was not happy with the food what so ever. I wrote a review, afew days later received a comment from Dickies to send my phone number, name, address and here it is a month later and have not heard back from this place. now on top of the food, their service isn't great either. so here I am again leaving a review. NOT GOOD PEOPLE!!!!

On Oct 7, 2015 at approximately 8:00PM I ordered meals for my entire crew as a reward for a job well done first time I have been to the pit First I did not get all of my order and was to busy to drive back as well as the fact its 5 miles from the job site. So I ended up giving one of the guys half of my meal Also the onion tanglers were so salty we could not even eat them and had to throw them out. Meat was cold and I was very disappointed as well as was my crew Especially when I went out of my way literally to get them something special for a job well done and got such a disappointing meal

I have been a customer of Dickey's BBQ mostly in Dallas for several years. Today my wife and I stopped at your store in Nixa MO. for lunch and it was the most unpleasant experiences we have had in a long time. The staff told us they couldn't slice the brisket because it was to moist??? but he would try (FAIL) it came out like pulled pork very stringy and when I ask about it the staff said that is the way sliced brisket was. There was no offer to satisfy just I told you that's the way it is.

Every time we ate at Tomball Dickey's, 28155 Tomball Parkway, we all got stomach issues. This happened numerous times so I mentioned it to an employee there and they stated, "yeah, a lot of people say that. Finally, we quit eating there. Recently, I ran into an ex Dickey's employee, of that location, and I relayed my story to them. They said, when cooked meat is not sold on one business day it remains in the warmer/cooker overnight and is sold the next business day. I am sure this is the reason so many people were getting sick from eating at this location. This should be verified by the Dickey's Corporation.

On May 31, 2015, I ordered a to go order of extra lean sliced beef. from the FM 1488, Magnolia, TX store. The cutter told me to go down to the register as she prepared the meat. Upon arriving home, I found charred chunks of stringy beef, not sliced and definitely not lean beef. I will be taking this order back to the store on Monday for a refund. Dickeys has lost my business forever!

To Whom It may concern:
I want it to go on record by stating that I have been a faithful customer in patronizing Dickey's Barbecue in Lee's Summit, Missouri and also in the state of Arizona when my family vacations there.
On Saturday, February 21, 2015, at approximately 8:45pm, I responded to the Dickey's Barbecue located at 1736 Chipman Rd. in Lee's Summit, MO, in hopes of purchasing a brisket sandwich to go. When I entered the business, there was no one standing in the front area to take my order. Three employees were visible in the back area, but they all chose to ignore me. A black, male employee, who was standing in the dining area, observed me when I entered the business. After he noticed that I was not being waited on, he called out to the other employees to "help me". When he finished alerting them, a white female, who had observed me standing at the counter, meandered toward me with a disgusted look on her face. She stated the following: "We close in three minutes and we have no brisket and no sides. I responded by asking, "What do you have?" and she stated, "All we have is chicken and smoked sausage. At that point, I turned and left the premises.
It was quite apparent to me that your employees had no intention of giving me any type of professional service. they were unwilling to allow me to place an order with any side dishes of any kind. This behavior is rude, appalling and totally unacceptable.
My questions to you are as follows:
Is it your company policy and practice to leave a customer standing in your business without offering to provide service?
Is it your company's policy to greet a customer by stating, "we close in three minutes"?
Is it a common practice of your company to not have "any sides" available to purchase with a meal?
Why was a treated this way by your employees, who are representing your company?
I would be much obliged if you would respond to this posting with an answer to my questions. I tried to fax this correspondence to your company to no avail. I also tried customer service by phone, but unfortunately I couldn't get an answer. This has left me puzzled, dismayed and disheartened. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Anthony B. Hogan
