Awful service. I've been trying to open an account and after a long scheduling/canceling appointments and so many hours in the phone waiting for their technical issues and delays...I'm still without internet. None of the customer service's phone number Centurylink has work effectively. This is a disaster and no one call me back or anything. Zero professionalism and care for anyone. My phone is 7863062245 just in case this may be the only way someone take me seriously and call me back. Thank you

i tried to get a shipping return label to return a modem. three people said thet cant send me label in the mail. i returned a modem just weeks before with a label sent to me via usps mail. now the fourth person told me no problem he was supposedly punching in the info as we talked, saying i would have the label in 5 working days that was 2 weeks ago. hmmm was he lying to me. if i dont get a label i will set it out by the mail box and it will magically get to centurylink, just like the label got to me.im not paying $200 for a modem i am trying to return to you. which was the second one i received that didnt work.i was told i would get a months credit for the modems not working, when thet transferred me it was to a non working number, i v been a customer for 25 years, the only thing im keeping now is my landline and depends how it works if i go to cell phone from a reliable company. a very unhappy customer

So upset with CenturyLink my internet has been out for 3 days. They send me a text saying it's fixed and unplug and wait a few minutes and plug it back in and it still doesn't work! I called them and waited on hold today for 2 hrs and when I get the guy
and start to state the facts he hangs up on me! Why did it take so long to get human on the phone and then I get him!! Tried the text service and again was chasing my tail got no where and another hr has gone by! I asked the text repair to have someone call me and nothing..do they care????? Now I have to do it again tomorrow maybe I'll look for a new service I've been a loyal customer to them wish it was a two way street!!!!

Our internet has been out for almost two weeks. Two separate tech appointments were scheduled, both times waited all day and nobody ever showed up. Both tickets were closed saying the tech had "fixed the issue", which of course they did not. Just got off the phone with Xfinity and set up new service with them. 600mbps instead of 80 with Century Link and a few bucks cheaper. They can't be any worse than Century Link. Goodbye to your awful customer service Century Stink.

DSL itself is good BUT new instalation and repair of existing (lines/cable management) is terrible. I think Century link uses subcontractors that, at least in our case over the years, have little regard what and where holes they drill, hang line. and hiw it looks

My centurytel (Centurylink) email was hacked. Scam messages were going out to my friends from my account. I went to Centurylink online for help and got on the chat. I was number 99 in line. When I got to a person, I told him that my email was hacked and sending messages to everyone on my list. He said that he would transfer me to someone who can help. The next person on chat did the same thing sending me to someone who will help. And so it went with no help from anyone.

Now for the worst part: I got my credit card bill yesterday and found on it two charges of $46 each from a company called JustAnswer Tech Help. I called JustAnswer to find out who they are and why are they billing me. It was because Centurylink chat had connected me to them when I thought that I was talking to Centurylink. The JustAnswer company confirmed this and agreed to cancel the charges.

That is what you get when you try to get customer service from Centurylink. You get no customer service and a bill for $92.

I have been a customer of theirs since 2016 and they used to be REALLY good! They would answer all of my questions, provide a straight answer, and not talk back or hang up on me. Since the Pandemic, however, things have definitely changed. I feel they let the good employees go and outsourced to overseas call centers that CLEARLY do not use the call in service, and the chat is a joke! They absolutely refused to help me multiple times and I have been without internet for a month! They have disconnected on me prematurely to save on their precious time. Customer service is no longer a requirement, it seems. We no longer care if a customer is satisfied, we just want their numbers. I hope they fix this quickly.

We have been trying since October of 2021 to get phone's working in our business. We have used entry link for 27 years now we deserve some form of respect and service! Cannot get anyone to address our situation!

Phone support takes 4 to 5 hours... if you can even wait that long. Online chat loops back to 44 in line when you're next.. with "connection is lost" excuse

I go onto the CenturyLink site and need support for Internet and only option after hours is thru chat. I'm number 99 in line. That should tell this company they have issues. It shouldn't be that many people on hold to chat.

I don't see how they have to do updates every month I can't use my wifi cause it keeps going red and green so I can't watch Mt neflex and they said yall have to much stuff on the wifi they lied they have sucky service I would not refer them to anyone

Centurylink has the worst customer service in the world. It gets worse all the time. I have been without landline service for a month. They were supposed to forward my calls to my cell phone but forwarded the calls to some random business. I notified Centurylink and even told them the business they had the calls going to. I have made calls, tried online live chat, and exchanged numerous emails, and have been dealing with a so-called "Customer Advocate" for days and still can't get anything done. I would give them minus 100 stars if I could. If you have a choice of providers for phone, internet and TV go with any other company than Centurylink. Look at all the reviews, it is so obvious they do not care about their customers.

I knew going into a relationship with Centurylink was a bad idea based on their reputation. I needed internet service for several months until the ground could thaw for my usual provider to dig for installation of fiber cables. My complaints are:
1. I never received a copy of my signed contract and, contrary to their claims, it was not on their portal.
2. The price I agreed to was $60/month yet they charged me over $200 for 6 weeks of service.
3. You can't get ahold of a real human once you're a customer unless you literally have all day to wait on hold. It will take hours on hold to finally get through.
4. Most frustrating of all is that their customer service style is happily to tell you anything you want to hear and pretend that they're doing it yet you'll find out nothing changed.
5. They charged my card against my wishes and the MN Attorney General is investigating.

I have been a Centurylink internet customer since 2018. recently I decided to add a phone line to my account, However I did not want my internet speed to be affected! I was assured even though the invoice showed my internet would be at 3M I would still have my original speed at 6M. Prior to the service tech starting the work I tested my speed and it was the normal 6M. After the Technician finished it was half of that. He instructed me to call in and have them redo the order and put it back up to 6M. After a calling in and being told that they don't have 6m in my area AND THEY CANT OR WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. So why would Centurylink take a loyal and satisfied customer and turn that customer against them????? Now we know why there customer base is leaving at a high rate. I will add the service Tech that came out to install phone jack was very professional and helpful.

Century Link could very well be the worst internet service on the planet. We have been a customer of theirs for about three decades, our bad.
Their speeds are lower than they charged us for, that is when and if we had service. The latest outage started Dec. 26th, 2021 and was still down when we discontinued service March 23rd 2022.
In our rural area of the USA there are about 20 Century Link customers almost all of them in our area have dumped them and gone with another provider, we also have joined our neighbors, the new provider offer faster reliable speeds for just $4.99 more than Century Links charged for their awful internet. I would recommend anyone needing reliable internet check out other providers in your area, hopefully you will have another option than Century Link.

I have had 2 repairmen out in 2 weeks for my centurylink internet . Both times the internet worked after they left and went back down next morning. I just spent an hr on the phone with 2 different ladies one put me on hold for 15 minutes and I hung up . The other could mot help due to not understanding me . Thanks 4 nothing centrylink.

I have had CenturyLink for years and I must say that their customer service is terrible. You call them and the support people hangs up on you . You call back and request to speak to a supervisor and they tell you that there isn't a supervisor you can speak with. I filed a complaint and I received an email stating they spoke with the employee that hung up on me and that it will never happen again. I would like to say this is not the first time this has happen and it is apparently something they don't want to hear. There is another company that is bring fiber optic to my area this summer and I must say I've had it with CenturyLink. For a company that's big they could give a damn about their customers.

I work from home and obviously rely on using the internet. My internet went down on Sunday 2-20 and when I called it in to CenturyLink I was informed they could not send a tech out until the 24th. I explained to them that I cannot take almost a week off work due to not having my internet working. They would not even try to send someone out earlier. Now I may possibly lose my job because of this. I should not have to wait this long to have a tech come out to fix the outside line.

Worst support ever. Incredibly slow, transfers you for no reason just so you'll tire out and leave. Sometimes it feels like i'm talking to a bot. just the worst thing ever.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I waited on hold for a total of over an hour, getting transferred numerous times and having to reiterate the same information over and over. The last person I was able to talk to told me that I would have to call back the next day and she couldn't explain why. I am switching carriers.
