I just purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee new from a dealer.After driving the vehicle less than 30 miles the dealer informed me water was in the carpets and floor of the rusted Jeep. After running a car fax I was informed of 6 detailed records reports.The engine powertrain module replaced and the Transmission computer also replaced and both reprogrammed.Is this a used or resold vehicle or is could this have been a flooded vehicle.Vin: Thank you, James DeGaine.

Isubmitted for a report on 2/26/2016 had trouble with website and my credit card was charged three times for the same report. Now after trying support/ refund two of these please you say my email is invalid. It's the same one you have used for me the entire time. I will allow about 48 hours before I file a credit card full dispute.

What a total ripoff! I paid $40.00 to find out that the truck has had 5 owners? That's it! Where's the accident report, or the mileage report, or any other report that you're supposed to report? It didn't even say when it was bought new. NOTHING! There's a 100% satisfaction guarantee, well I want my money back, because I'm 0% satisfied!

Carfax Is Not What It Was Before Anymore ..this Is Really Waste Of Money To I Feel Its Scam .. There Is No Accident History Or Anything On Carfax . I Could Call And Get The Info About The Maintenance For Free And They May Got The Maintenance Else Where Done Not At Dealership. So Pointless. Refund My Money Back

I purchased a Carfax report for $39.99 +tax. The billing went through on 2/2/2016 for a total of $42.39. I still have not gotten a report. I gave my email address Please report to me what the problem is. I have used your service before and this didn't happen.

I just bought the 5 program and entered my am number. I then tried to get. The report on the car I bought today. It showed the model and year, but nothing else. I then thought I had entered something wrong and started over again. Again nothing. It appears I have been billed for two purchases of 5 reports.

Please remove one of the $49 purchase and help me to be able to read my report.

I am a nearly 10 year veteran police officer, and I get more respect from drug dealers than your customer support. It is ridiculous that you can't even speak to a person about an issue. CarFax is the worst thing to ever happen to car buying period. I can not believe the lack of professionalism from this company. It sickens me I put my life on the line to pay for my car, and now I'm loosing value on it because of a mistake by this company. Mistakes happen but what happened to making things right?? I hope this company either turns there service around or just plain goes out of business I've never felt more disrespected in my life

Purchased vehicle with a "clean" Carfax. When we took the vehicle in to get a recall fixed the dealership deemed the vehicle UNSAFE TO DRIVE! The whole subframe was being held by one bolt! How can a used car dealer state he's a clean Carfax business when the vehicle is UNSAFE on his lot. My son had been driving the vehicle which, as the licenesed Subaru techs stated, is a danger to the driver and others. My son could have been hurt or killed, as well as others.If the buy back guarantee isn't upheld, Carfax, the dealer, the place the dealer got the vehicle and possibly others are going to be hearing from all sorts of professional individuals. To me, someone is playing with peoples lives just to make a dollar. Hate to think about what might have happened if there wasn't a manufacturer recall. I am a very angry and determined person. I think I've been scammed and I'm the type to take it. Buckle your seatbelts if this doesn't get taken care of, because I'll be coming with legal action. Putting peoples lives in danger is non negotiable.

I had an account set up on carfaxonline. My account M. I was provided this account as a Detective with the Lake Havasu City Police Department, but I have not used it in quite a while. I am inquiring to see if I still have access to an account on behalf of my department.

Carfax offer defaults to "unlimited" reports. However, this is not unlimited VIN it is only unlimited by plate number. Don't be fooled. The offers are 1. (1) report 2. (5) reports 3. unlimited by plate NOT Vin number. You can cancel after receiving 2 reports. So if you want to get two FREE reports, activate the unlimited service but then cancel it after opening only 2 reports.

Also read other reviews where the reports are not helpful and may not report serious issues with the vehicle you are interested in. In fact, a vehicle I purchased new had 5000 miles at first reported service. However, carfax reported this as 50,000 miles. I ended up purchasing a vehicle that showed a clean report but actually had major damage to the passenger side. Replacing a cracked headlight alone cost me $1000. In addition, carfax does not offer a phone number to call for addressing your customer service issues. GOOD LUCK

They reported my title as salvage. I called KY Transportation Cabinet and was told it was not a salvage title nor was the OH title they transferred the car from when I purchased it. I bought the car on 7/17/2015 in KY and they also show it titled in OH on 7/27/1015 which is impossible as I hold the title in KY. This is probably because they have the wrong vehicle entered on my car! This is so frustrating. I emailed CARFAX and did the chat line and still have no resolution. You can't talk to anyone and they told me it could take 2 weeks to hear back! I called the and they said they only talked to dealers. I have lost the sale of the car because of this incorrect information. DON'T TRUST THIS SERVICE!!!!

I recently applied to and bought 5 car reviews. I used it one time. I went back last week and attempted to buy unlimited access. I tried every credit card I had and was refused. I called and talked to an associate who attempted to work me through this, but to no avail. Will someone call me at and help me start over?
