Just spoke with a rep to follow up on a letter I sent to corporate headquarters about the increasingly nasty conditions at the Hollywood, CA club (dirty, neglected equipment; sticky floors). Hopefully someone up the chain will take notice.

On Monday, I asked one of the service reps if there was a new class at 7:00 p.m. which a friend had mentioned besides Zumba and all of them were busy talking to each other and ignoring people, one them replied and told me that there wasn't a new class and that the Zumba class was cancelled!!! And rude and annoying Peter ( a membership counselor ) added " Isn't Zumba the same as Bodycombat?" said to her I don't believe you and I said to Peter that Zumba is not the same as Bodycombat. AND ACTUALLY THERE WAS A NEW CLASS BEING HELD!!! TAND THE ZUMBA CLASS WAS STILL ON THE SCHEDULE!! THESE EMPLOYEES DO NOT KNOW OF ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON EVEN IF THEY HAVE THE SCHEDULE OF CLASSES IN FRONT OF THEM!!! ALSO, IT LOOKED AS IF THE MANAGER OF THE EVENING WAS ABSENT OR OUT SO THEY WERE NOT BEING SUPERVISED.

24 hour fitness will steal your money.
I cancelled with them twice and they are still taking my money from my account.
I have to call back Monday when they open to cancell again. mean while i have bills due, and they have my money. This is why they keep getting sued. I am going to file a lawsuit, I have had enough.

Yesterday I requested a "REASONABLE ACCOMADATION REQUEST from the manager at the Arapahoe 24-Hour Fitness Center. I wa told that the "manager" would personally contact me of his decession..He did not bother to call. But chose to ignore the ADA Request based American with Disabilities Accomadations. Before filing a ADA Complaint. I would like someone to call and explain his actions and decession.

I have applied to work at 24 hr Fitness in my hometown several times..Each time, going through the questions till I get to the All-Important question: "Have you applied to 24hr fitness before" ..
Every time I have to make a decision wether to lie or not.. as I am CONVINCED that every time I click "yes" my application STOPS there.. goes into the trash, never even received.. why then is there never a response of "got your application" .. or "Thanks, but we have selected someone else" ?
Bogus.. like working there may also be..possibly a blessing..

I went to the 24hour fitness in downtown chula vista and had horrible experience. I was told by the lady at the front that I had to wait and she had a nasty attitude, so 20 minutes later I asked her to use the bathroom and she said only mmembers were allowed to use the bathroom so I as pretty upset. Again she was being rude, all while she was on her phone. I decided to come back another time because the customer service sucked. I hope they get a new front desk woman that actually dose her job.

I can not believe that my iphone got stolen inside my locker!!!
I use your locker with personal combination, because dont have my own lock,
after coming back from my work out, my phone got stolen and reported it to the desk.
The desk clerk just took my information , and it seems that they are not bothered by this.
My niece sister in law , same thing happened and her iphone got stolen too in her own locker.
I was told not to leave any of my things inside my car, because there are also some break ins that is going on in the parking lot.
I go to Hayward Super sport 5 days a week and I want to make sure that
I am safe and secure with the area.
Can somebody do something about it, as there is already lots of crime going on to this Hayward Supersport Gym, and this was only open a year ago.
Hoping for a quick resolution and response to this matter urgently!!!!!

Many of the female front desk staff are rude and pretentious! The club is consistently dirty and equipment remains broken, even after reporting this to staff members. I will not go there again, nor will I refer anyone to 24 Hour Fitness. Very disappointing!!!

Interesting to find out that all the clubs are the same across the country... filthy and broken down. I spoke to customer service today to report that the AIR CONDITIONING in the cycle room is broken AGAIN. My club is located in SOUTH FLORIDA. Imagine a business operating without air conditioning in So. Flo. I think this organization has gotten too large. Perhaps we should all find different clubs to give our money to. I pay for 4 memberships. Think they'll miss me? (Doubtful.)

WOW, I wish I would have read the many negative comments on many google links to include disgruntled customer comments and reviews on this site and others, prior to purchasing a 2 year contract. Had been an original 24 Hr Naut. member since 1981. Have gone back and forth between 24 Hr and Gold's Gym but 24 Hr having pool access made me switch back again after many years at Gold's (now SF Fitness). Went late this evening (Bryant St. SF) and brought in my purchase receipt/contract and tried to get set up with finger print entrance issue and the basics so I could hit the pool. Ended up dealing with a disrespectful youngster who was not able to input my info. correctly or find me in the system? It was already 30 minutes from when I walked in and she became flustered and obviously has no customer service tact or common sense. She would not give her name and other employee (male) behind the counter said he could not help as his shift had not yet started. I said I'll try later. Upon departure at 11:45 pm, I waited about 5 minutes and no one was available in the customer service area. Hopefully this negative experience will not be common place as clientele come to work out and relax, not to deal with little brat's who should be trained appropriately and have better customer service traits. Seems after my experience and what I've read from other clientele, 24 Hr needs to provide a lot of remedial customer service training to the employees.

I can't stand 24 hour fitness. I got a membership for my husband and my daughter and ever since day 1 the gym and the empolyees are rude . One of the workers tried to hit on my 14 year old daughter.
We cancel it and they still charge my credit card twice. I left several messages for the managers Lindsey and Erica to call me back . They never did . I just got off the phone with Erica who was rude to me talking to other people in the gym while i was talking to me instead of putting me on hold till she could speak to me and she refused to give me her district manager name and number. I would rather sell my soul to the devil then ever step into 24 hour fitness again

I joined the 24hr Fitness Club on March 31, 2000 and prepaid for my account. Every year for life was to be $99.00. I'd faithfully paid. In 2013 I had a case of Idenity Theft and was in a car accident that left me hospitalized. My payment on June 13, 2013 apparently did not go through. There was no notification to let me know that. I called this year on June 20, 2014 to make my payment as I just got released to go back and work out. To my surprise my account was terminated! The lady at corporate was very rude and uncaring as to why my account was terminated. Didn't care and just kept repeating, "You should have paid it, you should have just paid your account".

I told her that I had no problem paying it and this years' even though I hadn't been able to use the club. Offered to back pay and pre-pay 2015. Very dry answer, sorry, nothing I can do. Then went on to offer me an outragously priced club membership. Be aware that loyalty is not rewarded or cared about.

I returned to 24 hour fitness when I learned that there was a super 24 in Rohnert Park (which is much closer to me than Santa Rosa where the unscoured pool tiles are chronically gray and the indoor air often stuffy. ) My main activity is aqua aerobics for 6 months of the year. Unfortunately, I have found that despite the strong turn out each time, the classes resume there is a very laid back approach to scheduling/resuming it each year and it is a struggle to have it scheduled 5 days a week. I started calling in April and was told to call each week. In May I was told it would occur sometime that month. Last week I was told someone would call me that day but it never happened. This week is call #5 and I was told that the classes should occur sometime in June. There are a lot of people recovering from injuries etc. who obviously welcome and benefit from this form of exercise so why doesn't 24 hour?

After moving out of California, I came to find out that I was still being charged for my membership for four months, even though it was supposed to be terminated. After calling customer service, they refused to refund me any of my money!

I've been a member since their doors opened. I moved to Az and thank god memberships aren't oversold. I just discovered that they've drawn 29.99 from my acct for a year when I spoke to an office person who agreed to put my membership on hold for 10.00 a month... a year ago charging me for membership to a club in a town I've never been to...talk about a slap in the face. There are no 24 hr fitnesses here so I can say that I've not been to one. So watch your bank statements cuz this is out of control..

The clubs in Manteca I has been join for many years,but after they kept change the manager sometime I need to complain about the classes,studio for practices like silvers Nickers they put too much fan inside the room. Sometime the room to freezing they has been try to turn on the fan right on my face,I try to turn it off but the instructor told me like I was not allow to do that.because have some fat lady around my corner she want to turn it on.but during that time I has been got sweat a lot from another classes and the fan they has been put right at my face that made me got sick very easy.just try to let your guys know and will do something for me please.

we checked with our City Prosecutor Office. Despite your policy of children SIX Years and younger allowed in same-sex locker rooms when accompanied by a parent, the City Code in our City is FIVE years old. Your policy may not supersede that Code. Your location at 3030 Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach CA is criminally allowing children 5 years and older in the locker rooms where they see adults (who may or may not have criminal restraints keeping them from children) undressed, often naked. We have seen fathers take their young daughters into the mens locker room to change, which is the most horrific; and regularly mothers WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER take their young sons into the womens locker room. In either of these instances, girls in the mens locker room or boys in the womens locker room, these children are exposed to naked adults who never gave consent to allowing this to happen. This criminal activity occurs mostly in conjunction with the "swimming classes" on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, but occurs at other times too. There must have been other complaints, because the staff feebly and inadequately placed temporary changing tents next to the pool - HOWEVER, the staff DOES NOT ENFORCE the Policy of keeping children Six (FIVE per Law) years of age and older from entering the locker rooms, and the irresponsible and criminal parents CONTINUE to bring their children of the opposite sex into the locker rooms.
The City Prosecutor's Office recommended that we notify the police the next time we see this happen. We are informing you first before we have to take this step, so that you have a chance to correct it before we 1. go ahead and Notify the Police, 2. Report you to the Dept of Consumer Affairs, and 3. Expose you in Social Media and Local Television News Outlets.
We hope that we do not have to be subjected to this shocking situation any more. Thank you for your immediated attention to this matter.

All I can say is the 24hr fitness in chino hills is THE WORST I have ever been in RUDE, DIRTY, made me leave because they refuse to give my friend a day pass because her ID said a different county. But when I went that wasn't a problem.... Glendale you can ask trainers a question.Today I had my 1st personal trainner and I am not happy with him. I feel like I'm paying for nothing.i asked what he wanted me to do and he told me "do what you been doing " if I tought that was working I would not be paying you to be my trainner...I am NOT happy qnd I am canceling my trainner and membership.

Pool Was Out Due To Heater Prob For A Month In Jan. Then Jacuzzi Went Out 2 Weeks Into January Just Fixed Mid Feb - Both Had Been Waiting For Parts - Nowsauna Is Out.

Male Desk Personnel Very Rude With Attitude - Especially On Phone..asked Them To Go Back And Verify Jacuzzi Was Working They Refused. Needless To Say Wasn't Working Correctly When I Got There - Jets Were Bubbling/spouting Water Up In The Air Instead Of In The Water...personnel Walks By This All The Time And Thinks It Is Normal? Jacuzzi Is Constantly Low On Water - Below The 3 1/2 Foot Icon. And Looks Like A Cesspool.

My family, of 5, are members of the 24 Hour at Seabridge. This is a fairly new gym, but it is filthy and there are lots of pieces of equipment that are broken(stair steppers, and treadmills, and box steps that are in such poor condition someone will get hurt)and other pieces of equipment that are missing parts (handles for cable machines, carabiners and weight pins) which renders the equipment useless. The staff does not put equipment back, and there is trash lying around everywhere, in addition to the broken mirrors and dirt and grime that never seems to get cleaned off. I contacted the manager weeks ago, who told me that there were replacement parts ordered and she was aware of the problems. She is no longer at the gym, and we have NO manager on site. NOTHING has been done, and I am not the only frustrated, disgusted member. We are all paying our membership dues, but clearly 24 Hour is not maintaining their end of the agreement. 24 Hour is liable for injuries to a member if they don't maintain their equipment. The gym is a breeding ground for staph infection, as well as other infections, if they are not conducting basic cleaning. You will be losing a lot of members from this gym if you don't start investing in your members, like you expect your members to invest in your gym.

I became a member in 2007. I am writing this complaint as I have been on hold with your corporate offices for 15 minutes. I find that absurd as our time is as important as yours. First of all the club I train at is in Sherman Oaks Calif at the Sherman Oaks Mall. Since I have been a member in the 7 yrs it is the filthiest gym I have ever trained in. I am 62 yrs old and have trained in over 20 gyms in 42 yrs. Secondly the gym has a different general manager almost every 2 months. I have complained to management for 6 yrs regarding the rap music that they play constantly and has filthy language. I don't appreciate listening to rappers cussing while I am trying to train. No one does anything about this and I have been complaining for 6 yrs. I have now been on hold for 21 minutes as I have been writing this complaint. Your company obviously could care less about what your company image in the publics view. I am sure at some point this will be your companies downfall......What a shame that your corporate ceos could care less about members complaints........Ronnie Ortiz....I now have been on hold for 24 minutes just to complain about the filthy rap music that I have to listen to everyday....
