I just wasted 3 hrs of my life dealing with clears cust. Service reps in India over clears throttling of my unlimited 4g service with no conclusion. I demanded to be connected with a rep in the U S and everytime I somehow got hung up on. I new clear throttled but, before when I called and got an American on the phone they lifted the ban and I went on now it seems the practice is to stall you out !! I guess if your being read the same answers from everyone you talk too that you will go away or if you get hung up on enough you will give up. I refuse to go away I will find a number that allows me to speak to an American and I will resolve this issue or I will no longer be a clear subscriber I need cust. Service that works for you not off a script !!!

Some how on 10/8/2011 Clearwire made itself my home page---It would not let me get off. I called their so called customer service I was on the phone for an hour,then we got disconnected somehow, I called them back and AGAIN was on for almost 2 hours. They did NOT fix the problem and then have the nerve to charge my debit card for the "FREE" phone calls. I AM PISSED!!!!!

This company is a JOKE!!! They need to hire US born citizens to work in their customer service department!! Don't know about you but I'm a little hesitant to continually give MY personal information to someone in the PHILLIPINES who can't get my problem resolved!!! JOKE JOKE JOKE!!! STOP outsourcing and hire Americans!!!!! unemployment might just go DOWN!!!!

Called 2 hours ago, was put on hold by a very nice Hispanic man but could not understand a word I said. Put me on hold off and on constantly apologizing for 52 minutes then finally asking me to call back in 2 hours, giving me his employee number. Called back, 3 times? after waiting for a human to finally pick up, the call drops! all 3 times! I spent almost 2 hours total without getting anything resolved.
Never had worse service in my life.

I am so tired of spending up too two hours on the phone with technicians, only not to have the problem fixed.

In the last year we have to call about slow connection, up to - two times a week, but for some reason they don't have records of my calls. They put my on hold and if the Call get dropped, they don't call you back.

Bad customer service!!!

Connection is so slow that it times out constantly. When I preform the speed test. The Upload test is at 0.04 and download at 0.34. What happen to the 4.0 that I am paying for?

I am going shopping for a new internet company. This is just too much. Clear-wire has gotten really bad.

This company is a joke! I'm a college kid that can't access my e-mail account because i don't have time to talk to my parents throught the day to get the information needed to verify our account information?? really? it's a different email account, why should i have to know all of their information for their account to access my acount! canceling service and getting different e-mail account

I have tried for hours on end day after day, I have documented, using multiple forms, including but not limited to using print screen, to paste conversations, as stated I have a disability, that limits my patients, clear wire seems to want me to upgrade my services, to obtain higher speeds, why would I do this when I am within sight of the tower and can not obtain the speed I am currently paying for, I believe this is bait and swithch tactic for which I reserve the right, at any time to file suit, I will however wait and see before I choose this option. If clearwire wishes to offer me a deal on upgraded services I will consider this as a possible viable solution, I do and will expect a reply within a reasonable amount of time, I also may wait untill I have reasonable reception based on speedtest.net results, please feel free to contact me at 541-234-7335 as soon as possible, you patient yet not yet loyal customer tim firman account info at phone # 541=292=0873

The only thing I can rely on is seeing the modem lights cycling, indicating that the system is down .... AGAIN !!

clear wire has an excellent employee. I don't know where she is. All the representatives have seen dispassionate about there job and it is obvious that they will no longer be working there and another 24 months.
Their customers support line is not better. They can only seem to respond I a canned answer .

if you really want to have some fun with one of of, ask them a question that's probably not pretty written in a book in front of them.
They will probably freeze up like a computer, or not answer you at all it's quite entertaining.
most of the tech-support people don't seem to understand their software. They also don't understand how to be personable. I can't say enough bad about this company. At this point they have not stolen money from me and I guess that's good. I hope they get themselves together it seemed like a be a good product.

I called two times to get some honest insight to why I was so disappointed with their company. The person receiving it didn't seem like they care. My God I could do better.

I have been a Clear customer for over a year. From the beginning, the "speed" issue has been a problem. I pay for the "unlimited" plan, and have download speeds of .125Mbps. Thats right .125. It's twice as fast as dialup. WOW! The problem is clear "throttles" their users when they download over 500Mb of data in the billing cycle. They won't admit it, but, I have run www.speedtest.com software daily and can "see" when the service drops to nearly useless after reaching the cutoff point. If you ONLY plan to use this for e-mail, it works ok. DO NOT sign up for any streaming service like Netflix. Clear says it will work on their service but in reality, it won't and it will slow down your download speeds drastically if you do. In Las Vegas, clear has so severely "over sold" their service it is at the point of saturation nearly constantly. E-mail is even slow during peak use periods. If Cox cable was $5 cheaper I would change to them. I have heard such bad comments about their, Cox, CS that I'm sticking with clear , I just can't use Netflix.
Another big corporation that couldn't care less about their customers.

ridiculous. modem cannot and will not maintain 1.0mb connection. constantly getting less than a single megabyte and supposed to be getting up to 2. crazy. time warner offering same monthly rate im paying for 6.0-7.0 mb. no comparison. customer service tellin me hotspots of the day are to blame. as if having to many customers is a problem, and if it is, maybe they should update systems faster or at least let me know that for $35 a month, i'll not be able to stream movies or play ps3 games. gotta get 1.0 to stream in sd, so you can forget hd.

I have been clearly taken advantage of by The Clearwire Corp. Their internet service is no better than dial-up service.
Its suppose to be so quick and easy to use. I have spent so much time and money trying to get it fixed and then still not work properly. Several times I would lose connection from the server. I would call for service dept, and they would tell to jiggle the Modem around until you get a signal. Customer service wasn't any better I would threaten to cancel. So they offered me a better deal and later I was able to upgrade to what they consider is their faster internet package. It was not only slow it took forever to buffer a video on Youtube. My daughter in the middle of a school project couldn't get online, so we had to call Clearwire again. All the time I have been with so called "Clear" the connection has never stayed consistent. I was ripped off by Clearwire and I hope to join with others, in a Class Action Lawsuit please automaticaly include me.

i was told that my price would be 34 dollars a month n was charged 55 dollars a month on top of that the srvice is so bad i cant play a game ive lost several sessions of work on my computer i just want to cancell service and i gotta pay to do that so not liking clearwire/clear

VERY VERY UNHAPPY AND MAD with this company (clearwire) I have to reprogram my telephe every morning. I have to turn off comp. and phone for a few mn. everyday and reconncet every cable, hopping and praying that works again. If it doesn't I have to call custumer serv. and they have me on hold for about 1 hour then after their indication I could be lucky and it my work. Of course if the call doesn't drop..... I have been a customer for a long time, but since 6 months ago I have been haven lots of issues..

I've had Clearwire for several years. Some one incorrectly closed my account When I called a very nice gentleman in India had me set up another account. I was unable to get my old e mails. I called Tech support and finally they closed the new account and restored the old account.That was March of this year. I now have the same problem that someone closed my account again over three days ago. Tech support in Florida was great gave me a ticket numer with a committment to call back within 24 hours. Guess what no return call so two days later I call them back. They aer still investigating why my account was closed in error but I have to wait until 6/6/2011 and call back to see if I can get my old account reactivated.
I am also told I cannot get out of my contract at this tome. Sure hate to pay for something I can't use. I do not recommed Clearwire to anyone.

The worst customer service. Had me on hold for 3 hours saying to keep waiting for a supervisor. I was told device was $40 doll a month and now i pay $60.00 fraud, breach of contract. The worst!!!!

Horrible Customer service. They will not refund your money even if its only been 1 day of service!! Terrible! An hour of my life wasted on these people! Another reason to go with local smaller companies.

I can't say enough about terrible connection services. I would rather pay more to talk to someone who understands what I am saying and not forcing me through prompts on a screen and me understanding them without wanting to jump through the phone and choke the poor little foreigner. Their billing practices are putrid. They do not give notice of price changes increases or unauthorized other billing increases and they automatically debit your account. Crazy. Stay away from clearwire.

Once you sign up you are hosed, they will not return your money. They will submit a request to their "billing department" that does not have a direct number for you to speak with anyone about your account. The customer service rep can only submit an email to this department as well. Please please don't use this service for you own good. Also I live outside of jacksonville,FL. Orange park. They said I was in a great location for service, They lied. out of scale from 1 to 36(being the best I had a 6. It was slower than dial-up.

The tech support for Clearwire is totally incompetent. It took three days to solve my problem and then it was Microsoft technical assistance that solved and corrected the problem. I am very dissapointed in this recent transaction, however this is the first time Clearwire tech support was not helpful. There is a need for more highly skilled and trained personel to assist customers in resolving problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!

G4 system totally inadequate. Cannot maintain internet connection. Trouble from day one with new tower on Pasco, Wa water tower near Sandafur and Rd 68. So far only mumbo jumbo from Clear reps. Need engineer to personally go to site to assess the problem. Or replace this modem with one which will work all of the time not just part of the time-- have to reboot several times a day! This kind of sevice is just not acceptable!! Have talked to several area residents who are experiencing same trouble.It all began with new tower going into service near Rd 68. Someone please take some interest in Pasco customers!! Must assess options very soon!!

One of the worst internet service providers. Switched from at&t broadband to clearwire to get a 4G sped in my home.We live in Atlanta , was told that we are less than half a mile from the tower and will get great speed.Unfortunaly we never received more than 2 lights in our modem at any given day for more than a month .Decided to send it back. Now being charged all the restocking fees and billed for the following month irrespective of returning all their modems and wires.

I HAVE FOR THE MOST PART BEEN HAPPY WITH CLEARWIRE, THERE HAS BEEN MINOR PROBLEMS BUT THESE HAVE BEEN RESOLVED WITH THE USE OF THEIR TECH. DEPT. UNTILL NOW. I FIND THAT THEY [ CLEARWIRE] HAVE NOW SENT A PORTION OF THEIR TECH. SUPPORT OVER SEAS. WE NEED TO KEEP THESE JOBS HERE IN THE UNITED STATES. ONE REASON FOR CHOOSING CLEARWIRE WAS THAT THE COMPLETE SERVICE WAS IN THE U.S. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO NOW IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A US COMPANY WITH COMPLETE U.S. SERVICE. THE ONLY WAT TO STOP THIS IS TO BY AMERICAN WITH COMPLETE AMERICAN SUPPORT, IT WILL COST MORE.
