I got a so-called supervisor on the phone today who was so ignorant to anything and was so rude and all that she did was Mark Mark and all she wouldn't listen but she had to talk I couldn't believe this this company venomo what a joke what a joke if you can avoid it please enjoyed it because it is a nightmare they they froze my account for I went to CBS and you know their little scan on the thing and it scanned when too many times and then they refunded me and all the sudden my account suspended for the day suspend people's account and freeze your account for the most ignorant reasons in the world and I'm just I'm tired of it and I swear after I'm done and I get my money back from these guys I'm going to close my account and never deal with venomo again I should have known if they were hooked with PayPal they'd be nothing but a nightmare this company is a joke a huge joke the supervisor the supervisors there are so uneducated they don't even know what they're talking about they don't even look at the account before they talk to you and they just think they know the world but you're just laugh I'm laughing at them saying what are you said do you even know who I am do you know who you're talking to you you know what I'm saying to you asking for my ID so many times and then the customer service man those guys have them can't even understand you they're not from their language doesn't understand you can't understand them on the phone it's an ignorant company and ignorant people run it and never customer service the worst supervisors in the world and their account specialists are so ghost you can't email or call them and these people have your whole life and your account and all your information right there in their hands who knows what they're really doing with it man everybody needs to get together and we need to sue benimo that's really what we need to do I mean cuz this is outrageously crazy I can't handle it anymore

VENOMO ACCOUNT SPECIALIST ARE A not working on any thing they get.. and then you get the support when you call they're a joke half of them can't even understand English or speak it then it was a joke and I'm about to sue him I'm done this company's a you you venomo equals nightmare not worth it don't ever deal with them don't ever look them up don't even deal with them they're not worth it venomo is a nightmare they like to take take take

Venomo is an absolute joke they have ghost account specialist that you can't even get a hold of but they expect their customers to trust them they're a joke you're a joke and now I'm going to sue the hell out of you

After my account was frozen, they asked me to provide the driver license what I did, after a week and a half, they told me that my account has been suspended, my money can be frozen up to 180 days, and by the they own rules, they will not tell me the reason why I have been suspended, and you can't dispute the result, never will advise to use this them.

Venmo no matter how simple of a fix your suspended account is gives you the same 10 business days to process. I had my pay linked to it when it happened, they didn't care. In fact instead of fixing the problem they ask for my picture ID 3 times so far. It's just a whole run around. They really don't value their customers at all.ive reached out at least 3 to 5 times a day all week to let them know how urgent I needed my account un suspended, but they don't care. Everyone is just a number to them, and after this week venmo is my least favorite company after I use to rave about them.

Venmo has an Outdated model and the worst ever Mobile Experience.
After weeks of repeated bad results I learned they can care less about Customer Retention.

After months of repeated unlawful charges they addressed a Security Breach of the monthly charges to my account. This should have been addressed immediately after filing a complaint not permitting it to re occur monthly.

In the meantime they suspended my account, my balance of funds for the last six weeks.

I called and emailed and responded to the request for uploading my government ID (( several times)).

I emailed called and complained and Keep experiencing a
Circular response to send them an ID , and change my password. This is 6 weeks and Venmo customer service acts like this is Everyone's problem but nobody's job.

Venmo's conduct is harmful to me and to customers. First a breach of security then repeatedly monthly unwanted charges , now a long suspension. This has negative effects on credit profiles, and the loss of control over personally identifiable information.

I have to waste time and energy trying to close Venmo. I fear future unauthorized charges and miss trust them to resolve, including seeking refunds for improper charges and breaches.

I`ve never in MY LIFE received such BAD customer service from a SUPERVISOR called Courtney as I did today with VENMO. She was ironic as did not treat me with dignity.

My account was frozen after i tried to pay a friend and it failed. I installed their app, put in my information, and then got emailed about my frozen/suspended account. I don't have an unexpired ID, and that's all they want to prove that I am who I say I am.

Simple enough, right? So simple someone who stole my identity could easily provide such evidence.

A picture of my expired ID my face with me holding the same ID wasn't enough for them. Get a new ID? Life situation doesn't allow me to do that at the moment.

I had $852.62 on my Venmo account and my account was closed and I couldn't get an explanation of why it was closed and still haven't gotten my money on Venmo and when I tried to get help from Venmo all I get told is that Venmo doesn't have a Customer Support for closing accounts but they only communicate threw e-mail and that can days to get a response from them if you get a response at all so I was forced to get ahold of someone at the Corporate Office and seek help because I've gotten in a situation where I need my money off Venmo asap so if someone could leave a message to my e-mail with a direct line to how I can resolve this problem I would really appreciate it.

I've been waiting for a manager. Called in response to an email stating that someone was trying to access to my account. Connie is the customer service person with whom I talked. I had cancelled my account years ago. Found out that it had not been closed. To close it I was asked to send a picture of my driver's license. I sent it 4 times. 1st she said it was blurry. Tried 2 more times. She said she didn't receive it. The 4th time she said she received it. What's going on? Was this a scam. I was never asked for a government issued ID. I asked to speak to a manager. I've been holding for 45 minutes. Did I just get scammed?

Venmo customer service is absolutely the worst I have ever have encountered. When you finally do get thru to a real person, they can do Nothing to help.

And they refuse to transfer me to someone else who might have authority to help. I am trying to venmo to my sister (whom I have venmoed a number of times before, and today, when I promised I'd send the money, Venmoe decides to decline my attempts. Meanwhile, my bank was researching for over 3 hours why I WA sbeing declined and they finally told me I was clear... The declining was not happening because of them
So, now I find out that venmo has its own reasons for declining but they won't share them with me. This place is horrible, arrogant and I will never ever use it again. I'd rathwr pay the fees on PayPal them to be under the control of Venmo... Not knowing g when I will be allowed to send money.

Called and the first thing they ask is for a Venmo account number. They did not tell me how to find that or what that number even is. I was in settings and they just kept repeating it over and over. I still have no idea what that number is! Then when I couldn't give that, they want my entire social... not the last four, the entire number. I was skeptical and asked if I could just give my last four or verifica some other way and he asked again and then just immediately hung up. Extremely unprofessional.

The customer service at venmo it's horrible they took a previous account and switch my account from 2014 from 2022 now they making it hard for me to get my money when I have to pay rent I spoke to three supervisors they told me they gave my case to someone that will call me in 24 hours they never called me and then they told me they would answer me by email this is why last time using denmo ever again

The worst of the worst. I am not able access my account because Venmo insists on sending a verification code to an old phone number. I tried for over an hour (4 different people at Paypal - since they are the parent company) to get connected to 'their Venmo department'- never managed to get through (overseas operators are useless).

Terrible company. So I have an account that I am not able to access and not able to correct my information - yet this morning I had received an email from them informing me that someone tried to access my account. So now what? What if someone actually manages to hack my account and use it? Venmo is even worse than Comcast.

Venmo has had over 500 dollars from me and has kept my account frozen since august 24th!!! NO ONE HAS BEEN HELPFUL! Everyone keeps giving me a different answer and says I have to keep responding to the same email. Worst customer service ever.

Venmo Has locked my account since June 28th 2022 I sent in verication info and identification. Venmo is not a Company I would not recommend to anyone. They didn't make me verify when they were taking my money now I want my 2000 dollars they have on hold keep sending these pee on reps to me and I want talk to president or Ceo. Lawyer Next up and I'm calling BBB!

NEVER USE VENMO !!! LIKE EVERRRRRRRR. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AND THEY WILL JUST GIVE YOU THE RUNAROUND!!!!!! I HAVE OVER 2500 in my account and "all of a sudden" I CANT add a card or bank ! & they say 6-7 business days, HERE I AM BUSINESS DAY #9 & im now deep in debt, bills piling up and I can't even buy myself a water bottle if I wanted. They do not care about their customers. It's crazy how the only people WHO CAN HELP YOU, YOU CANNOT REACH DIRECTLY. I WILL BE SUING BUT I WANTED TO MAKE YOU ALL AWARE NOT TO USE THIS SERVICE EVER !!!

Why does Venmo require a working password and user I'd for my bank account? I have my utilities on automatic payments and never once had to give my password/user I'd to enable it. I absolutely REFUSE to give Venmo my personal information...it's unnecessary and risky for me. Plaid is a platform with problems and I'm not putting my bank accounts at risk for Venmo/plaid.
BE ULTRA SUSPICIOUS OF ANYONE ASKING FOR THIS INFORMATION!!

STOP USING VENMO!! IMMEDIATELY--they will lock you account and they have no customer service to help you; you will not be able to access your money; they want to act like a bank but they can't back up the service - STOP USING IMMEDIATELY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY!!

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!! Venmo by far the worst company to use the will freeze your account for God knows what then after you send in the requested information they still hold your money till the review it which can take another 7 Days when ask to speak with a manager or Supervisor there's not one available unless you want to be scammed out of your money Do Not USE VENMO
