I HATE YOUR MUSIC in the store!! R u kidding me!! IT's OCTOBER 28th & yr playlist is Journey????????? Who & WHY do u let this RUIN the WHOLE reason people who LOVE HALLOWEEN and SUPPORT yr store come in and have to shop like this??

I placed an order 6 days ago and it hasn't even shipped. Waited on line for hours to hear its not late yet-goodbye from the ruddiest person i have ever talked to and told me to call back tomorrow. Do i have to take off work to get in touch with you people? You have charged my account and now i cant get it touch with you people?

I had a horrible experience with Spirit Halloween. My package never arrived, a customer service rep was going to overnight a replacement and send an email with the tracking number and I never received the item or the email. I called the next day and a different rep said that the item wasn't in stock in the first place for the rep to overnight to me. When I asked for a refund, they refused indicating that it's the carrier's responsibility (FEDEX) and that claims would take 21 days. I explained that the first rep should have checked to see if the item was in stock before promising to overnight it to me and at the very least, I should have received an email indicating so. Had I known, I would have purchased another costume for my son. Now he is without a costume and will be crushed. I asked to escalate the issue with a manager and the rep indicated that the first rep was trying to be nice and help. I indicated that although she was nice, she didn't do her job and now I'm left without a costume and with a $40 loss! When I pressed further, he hung up on me. So rude and no regard for the customer. I hate this place. Buyer beware and also beware of FEDEX. They are horrible. They used to be the gold standard in shipping and now they dont' even ring the doorbell when the deliver packages. They also leave packages outside in plain sight for others to take. And unfortunately, customer wind up bearing the burden of fighting with them to get their money back.

I had a very bad experience in Spirit Nees and Fowler. Tried to return and the lady I spoke with very pleasant said I cannot anymore but I can exchange. I said that's not what me and my daughter heard from a guy where I e had transactions with the last time. Then suddenly he shouted at the far right nd said he did not say that and I should know how to read. Very rude and keep mumbling like a child instead of explaining that most probably there was a miscommunication. He rudely discriminatory and demeaning words and surprisingly he is the manager of the place. Very disappointing! He should have been trained how to handle conflict as a professional manager. My experience is ruined. I enjoyed shopping here for many years. Enjoyed it. But now ruined by this young immature boy who I was told was having a bad day. But he should have handled his temper and not project yo his customers. There is nothing that can be talk in a nice mature way. Very rude, do not care on customer service at all.

Spirit Halloween Hardly Has Anything On Their Website That They Have In The Store To Pickup. Everything Must Be Delivered To You At A High Cost Then They Have 20% Off And Free Shipping Over $35.00 But You Can't Use Both Like Most Other Websites. I Will Not Be Ordering From Spirit Halloween Anytime Soon And Will Inform Internet About Their Horrible Business Practices.

Wow, I called about an issue with trying to buy a display item because there are no more available. Out of stock everywhere. Only to have the person send me over to tech and sign up for 50.00 a month. ?????? I didn't need tech , I needed help with them to allow display items when out of stock to be sold.

This store is terrible. Serious racial disparity here. The two african-american men who said they were managers were hanging out behind the counter playing on their phones the entire time I was in the store. The only worker who was doing their job was a white guy who was friendly and was the only person who helped me. He was the only person who knew anything when i asked a question, and the so called managers were too busy eating fast food and not caring about the customers to step away from their cell phones for even a second when there was an issue with a register and the line was backing up with unhappy customers. There are so many other options out there to get a costume for Halloween. Don't make this disaster of a store your choice.

I paid over 250$ for Monty an animatronic for Halloween. One of the symbols in bent at the top very noticeable. Very upsetting knowing I spent so much for something that's not even in exactly shape. Don't shop at spirit Halloween

Placed 7 different orders for a specific product which their website shows is in their inventory at specific stores.
Each time I placed the order and they reserved funds on my credit card, they would then cancel the order a few days later without explanation. They need to get their inventory straightened out and not list items available when they are not.

Time is being stolen along with products at 65013 that why store manager clock in workers instead of biometric and don't do schedule early in adP. Brandon sits in upstairs office for 3 hours+ sleep most days or sits at cashier unless other managers come visit. Addie takes frequent bathroom breaks..if not that her and Brandon are standing smiling in each other face. He wears clothes to make us uncomfortable with his chest showing and has hit on my girlfriend (she hates coming there)

. I don't wanna get fired I'm still in high school. My mom told me to come to here and tell you guys. Hopefully this helps. I wanted to tell that guy that visited and the Marylou lady but I was afraid that I may be fired for snitching.

ASK the employees.. not the managers!

I am extremely disappointed when I received my Killer Klowns Rudy today. It was broken into four pieces. Then Spirit Halloween informed me I could not receive a refund of money I paid them!! I had to choose a gift card because they didn't even have a replacement to send me! Think twice before ordering anything through the mail because you don't know what you're going to get. Anna P.

Completely ripping Canadians off on animatronics. What used to cost $27.99 to ship now costed me $145. If your Canadian stay away. I also sent 2 emails regarding the price change and they decided ignoring me was good customer service. Awful.

It is so easy to take other people's money with zero accountability for this company. Bought from store on Brook Rd, in Glen Allen, a strobe light of theirs two days before Halloween. Attempted to use item on Halloween night and found out that it was defective. Took the light back to the store the very next day to get refund or credit and we were told that their exchange deadline was actually a few days before Halloween and they couldn't take their own bad product back. Ridiculous! They sell defective items and hide behind unfair policies to avoid responsibility. I will never buy anything from them again.

Staff unprofessional and rude , need signs up for your return policy not just the receipt. How am I supposed to know what the return policy is before I even swipe my card? Then it's too late. What happened to the return policy being until October 31st? Very unsatisfied customer. Couldn't get the money back that I needed towards a bill that I was planning for because this policy is not posted anywhere. Manager saying I was yelling at your employees when I wasn't.

I ordered a child costume in October 2021, they sent me an adult size costume. I contacted Spirit and they said return it for a refund. I immediately returned the costume unopened and they received it. I keep getting ridiculous answers like " I will pass this on to my supervisor" after I was already told my refund was processing. Still no refund. Nothing but a bunch of thieves and I will make sure to tell everyone I possibly can that my money was stolen! THIEVES!

I'm never shopping at spirit Halloween again , I purchased something and came back the next day Bc I didn't need it , didn't even wear it still had the receipt and original tags , at the time of purchase which was 10/30 I didn't know that' there was no returns , I'm pissed never shopping here again !

Went shopping in person to the Redding, CA location found the Tim Burton's dress costume for women in the adult section and purchased it on the 29th before Halloween. Later at home I realized someone put a child costume in the adult section and it was the child version of the costume I didn't realize that or the cashier. I tried to exchange it for the adult version and the manager would not take it back as it "smells" even though it is unworn and still in the package as my body could not fit a child's size. I didn't want to return it just exchange the costume for the adult size so I could wear it as it's $49.99. Never shopping in person again as they were rude about the situation.

I bought a mask 10/30 and tried to return it LESS THAN 24 hours later and was told there was nothing they could do. No refunds after 10/22 or exchanges after 10/28. So if you buy anything after that they will not give you a refund or exchange. So the 14 day window is FALSE. You can try the number on the receipt but it just plays music and no one ever picks up (listened to it for over an hour). Do NOT buy from here any day close to Halloween if you aren't 100% sure it's the correct item or it fits.

Went to return on the 30th, I purchased on the 28th unopened with the receipt and they would not accept my return because It was after the 28th. Online a 14 day return window is posted no exclusion dates are noted.

Went in to return an item that did not fit within the 14 days and was told they do not accept returns after oct 21st, yet was never informed at the time of purchase that items would no longer be accepted after a specific date

I ordered 6 items and only received 5 items. My packing slip stated that all 6 items shipped and I was charged for all 6 items. I am not happy with their customer service at all. I have tried calling and it is automated which was not helpful. I have left a message via social media links and still have not received a reply. Luckily I only lost $10 on the product that I did not receive. Lesson learned, I will not order from Spirit Halloween ever again.

Very poor costumer service I'm in disbelief that the store manager at that is so rude to the costumers and then kicks them out of the store and refuses to sell. I will never shop at spirit Halloween ever ! I'm so disappointed I have experienced this with this store I go to ever year.

The Spirit Halloween in Harker Heights Texas this year is AMAZING. The store is constantly stocked with product and the store is kept up nice and clean. The customer service this year has transformed into the best experience I have ever had everyone is so cheerful and helpful. The store manager is so polite and eager to help you find whatever you desire. I love the fact that she actually walks around with you to help find what you are looking for. I believe her name was April and she truly is the example of what great customer service stands for.

We stopped at the Spirit Halloween in South Common, Edmonton location. The sales lady that helped us was, Randa and she was FANTASTIC!! She helped my whole family get costumes, offered great suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the inventory. I HIGHLY recommend you go see Randa for all your costume needs, she is the best!!

I like shopping at the store, and think it would be a great idea if the store offered parents/customers a way to drop off and donate old customs. I suggested the idea to the store manager at the Cinnaminson, NJ location.

Some Parents may not have the money to afford to purchase a Halloween custom for their child, and this would give them a way to get donated customs.

Store may even offer a discount to customers so that would encourage them to drop off as well as getting a discount towards the purchase of a New custom.

This is the worst place to let your child work at. Management is verbally and physically abusive to employees. Management has threatened me when picking up my teenager from working. I will not be going into another store due to this. What a shame I have gone to many of your stores for Halloween costumes spent $$ but after this I'm done. Oh and forget calling into your office calls go unanswered.
