I had gone to old time pottery yesterday the 10th of August in fort Myers fla and was appalled to the health conditions of the store. It is 95 degrees outside and the same in store. I had to leave I couldn't breathe and my chest started to hurt. You have fans blowing dust and hot air for your workers to deal with and your customers. I bet you have your air on when you are hot. You are going to loose customers

The Grandview Plaza's store manager is racist and very unprofessional. I tried to speak to him about the poor quality of a chair I purchased. I told him it was an employee purchase. He never bothered to ask the employee's name. He just told me he would not look any purchases up( I was looking to simply exchange. No money back). While I was speaking to him on the phone, my husband asked a question. He informed us that he would not speak to two people on the phone and hung up on us. While he was hanging up he called us a racial slur. During the conversation, he refused to give his name, corporate's number or district managers number. I know his name is Rob because I am familiar with the store. He is known to be racist, working in a mostly black community treating people with no respect not realizing these customers are the ones keeping the company and his employment thriving. I tried to call back after he hung up on me only to be rude and say he warned me that he's not talking to two people and hung up again! I have opted to take this situation to social media advising people especially people of color not to patronize this store. Not only is the company allowing management of poor quality run the store but there's no easy way for customers to speak with higher authorities. Once you spend your money. That's it.

I have purchased many chair cushions. I need 4 cushions that are together. They didn't have enough so I hade to purchase 1 bottom and Separate pillow. It came out to be $10 more that way. I think I should've been charged the same as the two pillows together. Just want you to know about it I should've been charged $10 less because you did not have the pillow that I want

I was just wondering if you can make new sign to paste all over the store window with the accurate store hours. The sign in Melbourne , FL. Incorrectly has "OPEN 9am -9pm EVERYDAY." I read the sign at 8:35pm and proceeded to enter in which the door was locked closed. The person collecting carts swiftly went inside when he saw me pull up as if to hurry and lock the doors so no one would have to work anymore this evening. Just so the store is aware. I was only coming in for 1 specific item located in the back left side of the store. I knew exactly where it was and what it was. I didnt need longer than 5 minutes! Thanks though. Another store feels my money is better spent at their store instead anyway.

I received a gift from my sister in law. She bought it at a OTP store that is 7 hours from my home. I went to put it together and it was missing a vital piece. I contacted customer service. They offered me the option of returning it to the store for a refund. I told them I live 7 hours from the store. Crickets... I thought surely they would offer to send me the missing piece. They did not. Does not make sense to me. I always rave if the customer service is good. I cannot do that. I hate to leave a bad review , I do not want to be that kind of person, but in this case, I feel like something more could have been done.

Used to love this store but it is now run by mostly foreigner employees and they are not kind or helpful. Very flat affect and often don't understand what you are trying to get help with. I had one encounter with the manager and he was very nice. I used to shop there exclusively and since I work in design I spent a very large amount of money there. But I have now switched to using other stores of which there are several to pick from .
Also, they have a short limited 30 day return. In city areas 30 is generally used since most people cannot get back to stores often in the 30 day window.

I have a file a complaint on the warehouse in Murfreesboro, TN. Me and others worked out there through people ready and the managers are very rude and seem racist. I felt like I was treated differently because I was a temp worker. I felt very uncomfortable as if I was being watched at the job site. I believe they should be investigated. They also have their favorites and you can tell how we are treated who their favorites are.

I currently work at the Mobile, Alabama store, I love this location and my current job there; however, I also loved my old town and beach life. Recently, however, I learned about a brand new store back where I lived recently in Stuart, Florida. I'm curious to find out more details about that location...Ii lived in Stuart and did for over a decade, I am familiar with that area, and as I've been with Old Time Pottery for almost a year... I am also familiar with the company and out products and protocols.

I Love this store but the customer service is not up to par. The other day I visited this location and the cashier was busy talking to some other coworker. I had to wait until their conversation was done. So, I just said maybe it was just that day. TODAY, June 12,2021 I was looking for something new to add to my house, and although the prices are a little in the higher side, I really didn't want to drive to At Home( competitor's store). As I get to the counter, a rude employ said, "I ll be with you soon as I'm done!" No, hello, No, welcome to old time pottery , No, excuse me , NOTHING. There was a man right behind me, he was Caucasian. I said, " You can go ahead of me." The minute he gets in front of me, INSTANT SERVICE WITH A SMILE AND GREETING. I WAS PISSED. I waited until she left, because I knew she was the manager (Ivette). So, I will be taking the ride to At Home from now on. My Google Review will not be nice

This is a complaint on an extremely rude employee! If you go to the ft. Myers store make sure you don't have Priscila helping you! She's extremely rude, thinks she's better then you, and talks about nothing but family drama! If you don't agree with her then she tells you how big of a piece of crap you are! I even witnessed the drama happen in the store, very unprofessional! I'll be looking for a new place to shop! Not taking the chance of her being there!

Was trying to buy a carpet with no price and the manager with out looking at item number just said $200.00 also were I took the carpet none of them were that price. They were 59.00...store in Fort myers..to much racism with Spanish looking individuals..

I purchased items that I discovered were defective after purchase. With a receipt, I attempted to return them to the Fort Myers, Florida store and was refused. It was an upsetting experience and I have reached out the the CEO Jeff Schmitt but haven't received a return phone call from the company in a week. I also left an email on their website. I understand that they have cheap goods...but defective? Not right! I want my refund!

While I generally enjoy shopping at Old Time Pottery and am always impressed with the selection, a recent visit was not a pleasant experience. The music was extremely loud and the rap selections very offensive. Other less unpleasant music was cycled through, but the uncomfortable volume continued. Being able to communicate with accompanying shoppers is needed when wandering through those bountiful aisles.

I shopped today at your Middleburg Hts. Ohio. I ended up leaving my cart as I saw two women with a large bulldog in their cart. Why bother cleaning your carts when a dog lays in one. Very sick.

We were in old time pottery on Sunday, 2 days ago in Merrillvliie, IN. The employer at the register was wearing her mask below her nose. I educated her to the fact that the virus enters through the nose. She said she had emphysema, and I told her all the more reason to wear the mask properly and that there are alternatives to the cloth mask that could help her. She said that the other day she was on a register with no mask and that "they" (management) didn't care. This is very wrong.

Knoxville, TN location has horrible management. Online ordering charged me for an item the store did not have in stock, so I was told I would be refunded that amount. When questioning the manager about why the full charge posted to my account, I was called a liar and still have not received my money. That's $50.00 this company stole from me. Change your management or teach them customer service. At this point I would not hire anyone I've came in contact with at your store. Not even to clean the inside of my dumpster.

Good evening I am very fond of your store I actually shop at the one in Melbourne alot but today your so called manager Tiana was the rudest person I have ever met i received a housewarming present an it was broken I had the receipt an brought it to store when I spoke to the manager she came out bluntly an told me she did not sell it to me broken an refused to exchange it. I was so disgusted with how she spoke to me an I told her I was a dept store manager an I would never especially when my customer had the receipt from not even 2 days ago came in an asked for an exchange. I would apologize an let that person. How do you stay open with immoral humans working for you. Then after she swooshed her hand in the way of whatever an while I was shopping took the broken item out my cart an took the one I was looking at put it in the bag an told me I can leave I was so embarrassed an mad I asked her for her bosses number she would not give it to me told me if I wanted it go online... She has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.... An for her to be your main manager is a disgrace to your company. During these hard times you should be more caring to keep your business not lose customers over arrogance and disrespect. I would like to speak to someone in charge about this because when I got home my item she stuffed in my bag broke an I refuse to go back there without justice.

Working conditions in Orange Park, Florida are deplorable. Each time I have been in that store, the A/C has not been turned down enough to cool the store - it was like a heat wave hits you when you walk in the door. Don't say the A/C is broken, because you can find spots in the store where the air handler is actually blowing cool air ( not cold). The Health Department or OSHA will be notified. They don't even have the employees were masks and gloves. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!

I bought all of a particular lantern at the Fairview Heights IL store which is very close to St. Louis. I went to the St.Louis store to buy more. There was only one in the store. It was $20 MORE than the 4 I bought in IL. I called the store and spoke with the manager. He advised me the item cost more because it was in a different state. So I called another MO store and the lantern is the very same price as the IL store price. I then went INTO THE STORE to speak with the manager. I even took one of the lanterns and my receipt to show him it was $20 less AND ON SALE. He refused to honor the price and gave me the "different states have different prices" excuse. I advised him the other MO store in Independence has same price. He still refused to honor the price. This is a clear cut case of PRICE GOUGING....SHAME ON YOU

Why are your stores open? There are people going in your stores with no mask or gloves. You provide no protection for your coworkers What's wrong with you people? The coronavirus is real. People are dying!! And you're still keeping your store open? I bet you're safe at home with your family, safe away from all the other people. What about their families, their love ones, this community?Your store is a non-essential business. Shut it down!!! Do what our governor says.

I had a terrible experience at your Orange Park, Florida location. We had purchased merchandise on Sunday, February 9th and when we took the item out of the packaging box, and noticed they were damaged. Very disappointed being we live a distance away. Tonight, February 10 , my husband drove me back to the store, which they had no more of the stainless steel that I picked out. Only had (1) aqua colored one left. I asked the cashier to have the manager come up to ask for some sort of discount for the inconvenience and wasted gas, instead she called the manager, and the manager named Ashley just said no, and wouldn't come up there. Definitely poor management.

It was such a pleasure being in your store yesterday. I met one of your sales girls at the cash register. Her name was Vernice Boyce. She met me with the sweetest smile and continued that way through my entire purchases. In this day, so many people are unhappy with their jobs and pass this on to their customers. I will look forward to shopping in your store and hope I get to enjoyed this young lady again. She made my day brighter!

A month ago I was searching for blue wine glasses on sale for $1.00 ea to decorate as souvenirs, for my daughter's wedding which was to take place in 3 weeks in Savannah. I needed at least 30 but unfortunately, there was only 1 left. A worker asked me if I needed help..I told her my predicament. She proceeded to search all the aisles with glassware in search of 30 blue wine glasses. This lady scoured the store, searched in the backrooms, made phone calls to another store...she was determined to find these wine glasses for me. I appreciated her effort so much...however it was not to be. I decided to look for candle holders as a last resort. Ten minutes later...she approaches me with a smile and tells me the other store found 27 wine glasses. She personally picked them up for me and 2 days later she brought them to the Brandon Store! Who does that??!! Cynthia Prewitt does! What a gem Old Time Pottery has ...and she is the District Manager! I truly wish to thank her...I will never forget that day...she was my ANGEL!
