Another Lost Customer/

I purchased a Battery for my wife's car at NAPA Store on Dandelion Street Pahrump , Nevada in April 2021 , Invoice # 673990 . The car wouldn't start last week as the theft deterrent system engaged. Took the car to the local Chevy Dealer who diagnosed a Bad Cell in the car battery causing a low voltage / Discharge that engaged the Theft deterrent System. The above mentioned store refused to honor the warranty and replace the battery, even after they charged it and it partially discharged while sitting in their store. Their solution was to charge it again and say it tested good. Been a loyal customer with NAPA for over 30 years but I wont be back.

I have taken my car to the Wellington road location for a couple years without any problems granted I've never really had reason other than oil changes and winters tires to go and see one. It started with the owner or manager Andrew calling me to cancel my appointment claiming that he can't get someone to come in becuase of all things a rabid raccoon. The next day when I showed up for a rescheduled appointment I have someone behind the counter complaining it's there first day and they dot. Know what they are doing. When it came to fixing my care he stated "I employee you not to put used parts on my car". This was a break job, starter motor and struts. It costs $1200?! I would have honestly put used struts on there as I intend to sell the car. When I got the car back the starter motor sounded ridiculously loud and and the center console wouldn't come on no radio no nothing so I had to turn around and come back I order for them to figure out what happened. I am now getting the starter motor replaced at a different location because Andrew told me sometimes new starters sound like that and they will eventually sound normal which is bs and I'm getting the same part replaced. I don't care if the part is under warranty why am I spending money on labour to get this fixed and how much is Andrew paying out of pocket. I am buying a new car pretty soon I am not ever going to go to a mechanic ever again, if I have to I doubt it will be Napa.
Sincerely Joshua Smart

The person at the register was unable to find the correct part I needed, a windshield wiper pump. He gave me the wrong part and then when I returned it told me to go to the dealer to get the right part. Your online site shows the part was available at the store. I went to get the part from your competitor. The store had poor lighting and was uninviting to enter. The people at the counter did not brighten up the atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe at the NAPA in Kutztown, PA. He stayed after hours to help us with finding a battery for our granddaughters car and gave us some info as far as a hybrid battery for her hybrid Lexus. His customer service was above and beyond all expectations. Skip those other Auto stores and go to the Kutztown NAPA!

Had a bad experience with customer service trying to report an issue with a store and parts that I bought and failed, they never called me to help me resolve it. I ended returning new parts also I don't want to deal with this store and the bad customer service they have.

The website is a joke the prices are out of this world.. and the shipping is so slow I think I'm going to go back and cancel 2 days and Nappa still hasn't shipped yet! Think I'm going to just go back and cancel based on principal alone

This complaint is towards the Napa Auto parts store in Carson City NV, I've been buying parts mostly batteries from that store for 15 years until yesterday. I received hands down the worst customer service ever, I had purchased a battery 8 months ago, that battery wasn't holding a charge for more than 5 days, I took the battery back to get tested and see if I was still within warranty, the guy behind the counter simply said, no receipt no testing and no warranty, I then asked if he can look the battery up and same response, no receipt no testing then looked at me with a smile. I said thanks for no help and I will never buy another product from Napa Auto Parts again! I went down the road to O'Reillys Auto parts, bought a battery for $200 and got a 3 year warranty, the rep said I don't need a receipt, its tied to my number. I will be filing a complaint to Napa Corporate. Napa i the worst.

Bad product and store p0licies; buyer beware!
Purchased TEM16040R A/C compressor on 5/17/23 and had it installed the same day at a California State Certified auto repair shop. Worked great for about 2 months and then failed, just blowing hot air. Took it back to the auto shop where they traced the problem back to this compressor. I then called the Napa store where I had purchased it and they said they might be able to replace the part only if certain words or phrases were written on my receipt from the repair shop. Then he told me that they would not assume ANY liability for my labor costs as it had been me that purchased the part from them and not the auto shop?! What a way to weasel out of taking responsibility for selling a piece of junk. Whatever happened to standing behind your product? So now I might be out the entire cost of parts and labor because some billion dollar corporation values the bottom line more than customer satisfaction and making things right. I am 72 y/o, on Soc. Sec. and an Army vet and can ill afford to take a hit like this. I paid parts and labor of around $1,400.00 for 2 months of air conditioning. I WILL NOT ever set foot in a Napa store again nor purchase anything from them. I'm tired of getting shafted by companies such as them.

I will no longer be shopping at the Wahpeton ND location. Your employees were very rude to a female employee that was working there. It was down right harassment! She is a heavy set gal and they made comments about her size! Absolutely ridiculous. She was spoke to in front of the manager that way and nothing was said. If that is how your employees act I will not be back

I'm a week behind from when I should have posted or contacted someone about this encounter. I was in the Bessemer, AL store and was looking for a part. The gentleman there was very courteous and went above and beyond in my opinion to help me locate the part I needed. He informed me the part was in stock in the Hoover, AL store. I drive to the Hoover store and walk into the store. I'm standing at the counter for at least one minute waiting on someone. I looked to my far right and noticed a guy sitting down on a stool maybe on his phone, maybe sleep, maybe daydreaming, I don't know. I walk over spoke and told him I was sent over from another store to grab a part. The first thing he asked was what time is it? Perplexed by his response, I pulled my phone out to see. I said it's 7:00 and showed him the time. He said, "We're closed!" I said I've been in here for at least two minutes and the door isn't locked. He looked very frustrated. The guy at the previous store wrote the part number down on some receipt paper for me so they would not have to look up the part. I told the guy at the Hoover store I have the part number. I extend my hand to give the guy the paper and he vigorously snatches the paper out of my hand and walks away. I was literally in shock and infuriated at the same time. Emotionally, I wanted to do a push off! I wanted to slide everything off the counter to make a huge mess so this individual would have to clean and reorganize everything on the counter. I knew deep down I would be wrong, so I aborted the thought. Then I knew the first thing I'd do. The guy comes back and says I have to come back the next day because the computers automatically shut down and he couldn't ring me up. He extends his hand to give me the paper back. I immediately snatched the paper out of his hand just as he did to me! I said, "I don't usually do that, but I need to show you how you took that paper from me. That was very unprofessional." He stated he was sorry. I continued to talk about his inexcusable conduct and he said, "I said I was sorry!" Before leaving I asked his name and he said Mike. I'm not sure what was going on with Mike and why I was treating that manner. I would love to say I will never do business with Napa Auto Parts again, but that goes against one of my philosophies. I won't stop a relationship with an entire brand based on the disrespectful actions of a hireling. That's not derogatory, I'm saying I understand the mindset of the shepherd who own the sheep versus a hireling who just watch the sheep. A shepherd will leave 99 sheep to find the 1 lost sheep, but the hireling sees no issue a feels he/she did a great job because they only lost one sheep. I can say I will no longer spend revenue in the Hoover location, but will patronize other locations instead. Thank you very much Mike.

I had a CV axle replaced in Kansas City on a 2013 Honda. The part failed. I replaced it again with a Honda part. I called NAPA for a refund. They told me that they would only replace it, not refund the money. Hiw is that possible?

I purchased a battery from the Napa auto parts in connellsville pa...the battery was bad only had it around a year...my alternator burnt up on a long trip so I came back took it to Napa where I bought it and had the test it ...it tested low amperage ...I knew it was bad probably bad cells which would cause the alternator to burn up ...the fella at this store kept telling me I need to take it to a auto garage I'm pretty sure my battery was under warranty...there needed to be a load test done or the cells tested ...my amp gauge jumped all over the place another indication the battery was bad...I had no choice to go to advanced auto and buy a battery...I m pretty upset the undermined my knowledge of what was happened ...so I replaced the battery that I bought at advanced auto ...and the issue was fixed...also I replaced the alternator before I put the knew battery in and the amperage on the Napa battery continued to do the same thing...it jumped up and down between 12 to 14...and a burning smell came from the alternator it was the battery burning up the new alternator...I d really like my warranty to be covered now that the issue is fixed just by putting a good battery in ...which I knew in the first place what it was ...dominick 724 880 4169

So no profanity here but it's ok for an employee to have the F word on a flag on his truck right on St Rt 619 Portage Lakes Ohio in front of NAPA Auto Parts? This is a large Catholic community, family oriented. Is this the company's opinion also?

Bad bad bad service. They make you feel like you made them have to get up. Will never shop there again.

awful bunch rt 27 in Ocala , Florida....there are 2 bus stops near this location. i often walk to bus stops. The large , caucasian staff hang out against wall often smoking etc. The make rude comments as people walk by. I dont ever see any Black employees..Its a mostly black neighborhood. Their customers are gross....I have been bothered by numerous cars near their store soliciting prostitutes....I dont even wear revealing clothes and im 50 years old! lol...one white man followed me from Dollar store , zoomed into Napa lot really bothering me. I contacted the police to discuss etc. I feel this store is ran by white supremists who are extremely disrespectful to people of other races and cultures...GROSS...

These guys are a joke they gave me wrong part and when I brought it back they wouldn't accept it and wouldn't even tell me what it was for

Napa- on line purchase $200+
So online site gives no indication that the item wasn't on hand at selected location - arrive for pick up- told it has to come from another store- might arrive by closing. This is a crap tactic business modle. Due to this brilliant move on your company's part I will no longer give Napa my money. Your big enough to prove accurate inventory information on your web site. Lame excuses are just that.

I ordered a part from NAPA online, when I ordered it said I would receive the part BY tomorrow, when I checked out said it would be delivered tomorrow, called as soon as customer service line opened 8:00 am.EST to cancel order and get it at the store. Said they can't cancel the order nor could I pick it up at the store today. I asked to speak to a supervisor was on hold about 10 minutes then told could not get a supervisor, customer service is terrible. Have been dealing with NAPA for 50 + years but will not buy from them again. Verges on false advertising as far as delivery date is concerned.

Napa stores and Napa customer care (800) number could careless if you get your parts bought and paused for online. They tell you the same thing over and over. The driver is almost here. Told me this for over ten hours. The call customer care and there response was what do you want to do. I want what I paid for. If you don't have it tell me you don't have it. Don't leave me careless for two days. Going on more because no parts yet

Posted by Anonymous

total chaos, they take your order and charge your card and then a day later tell you they dont have the item. it then takes 7 to 10 days to figure out what you actually paid for the items they actually deliver. and ALL their estimated deliver time are a joke.

I recently went into your NAPA store in Manteo NC. I walked in and 3 or 4 employees looked at me and said nothing. Finally a young man with a beard asked if he could help me . He was behind a barrier. BTW Covid is over. The dirty barricades are not inviting. I needed a battery and a fuse. He lifted the battery and put on the counter. I asked him to install because I was out of town and didn't have tools. He said they weren't allowed to do that. When I showed him the fuse I needed, he said he didn't have it and I would need to order it online. It was an uncommon item. He gleefully recommended the Advance Auto just down the road. I went there, they installed battery and picked the fuse off a customer rack and installed that. Made your store and this employee look very inept. I have told several people about this and will continue to steer people away from NAPA .

I hope this finds the right person to recognize 2 employees in Littleton, CO. (Broadway and Powers) store. I was looking for a after market part for my CJ5 was about to throw in the white towel looking everywhere in Denver for the part. Last resort was to call Napa. Jon and Tony went above and beyond to get me the part even thought they didn't have it. That sense of urgency made me a life long shopper at their store. Jon an Tony thank. you for all you did for me. I walked in as a customer and left feeling like family. True meaning customer service.

I stopped for wiper blades. In Issaquah, Wa. Having nerved put wipers on before, I asked Dave how to do it. He had me pull my car in front because he was alone, came out and put them on for me ! I really appreciated this
Want to say thank you so much ! I love Nappa in Issaquah
Very kind and helpful !

Mark was very friendly and helpful when I came to the Forest Grove store for windshield wipers. Knowledgeable on the right brand for my needs.

Thanks Christian @ Mesquite Napa for all you do and your expertise... It's a pleasure to always call your store and get the service and quality that greatly appreciated. I called O'Reilly and AutoZone on Lancaster road and both locations told me that they do not carry a "stop light" switch for my car.. smh Thanks Napa/Christian

I wish there were more positive ways to rate the Napa at the north Kingstown ri location. All employees there now are awesome in every way. Mike the store manager is brilliant, butch and bill are gems, all of the delivery drivers aSwell as Steve and Gary are super friendly.

This is coming from a 20 plus year purchaser from Napa auto parts in 2 different states and 2 different countries. None the less, the north Kingstown one is the best yet.

I stopped going to other stores (competition) especially since mine started managing there.

I recommend this place to everyone

NAPA store 901 Boston Rd Springfield..

An agent here named Robert waited on me July 28. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. He was very helpful to the point of assisting me at my vehicle regarding the replacement part. This guy deserves a raise and should be charge of customer service training for NAPA.

Not too often that the feedback is positive these days. This guy should hear from your HQ regarding his service attitude.

..this guy is the best

Dylan that works at Napa on Lottus rd and Geist Rd in Fairbanks Alaska was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. We were planning on traveling 600 mile towing a heavy wood chipper and were in need of some safety items. Dylan walked us through what we needed and was diligent about locating the parts we needed. It was a very refreshing experience compared to the ones we have had from all other auto parts stores. Thank you Napa for hiring someone like him with top notch customer service.

My wife and I were in Monument Valley, AZ. and our battery went out. I went to the local Napa Auto Parts store and bought a new battery. The service manager was excellent (I lost his card or I would give you his name). He helped me get a new battery and install it. He went far out of his way to get me on the road again. The store #900003265 in Kayenta, Arizona. Great service!

I traveled to Morgantown from Martinsburg Wv today to have my daughter seen at the hospital for a tumor in her knee. We were about 10 minutes from the hospital and my truck broke down right behind the Napa Auto Parts Store at 2 Airport Blvd. A gentleman that works there named Dave went above and beyond what he should have and help us fix the problem. He is amazing!

You have a girl named Pam and Hudson Florida I've been going there for years and she's been at a couple different stores and she's always so very helpful I want to thank you and I hope you appreciate her work

My Napa auto parts store in Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 seems to always be closed. I don't know if they realize that it's not the 1950's anymore! Every other auto parts store is open today on Sunday just like any other day. During the week they close at 5-6, Saturday opens later, closes earlier & Sunday there open for like an hour. In general there a decent parts store, except there not up to date with there warranty and returns program or lack of Network program. I do like the staff and the products are decent.

It has been a hard few weeks after the unexpected death of my father. To add to the frustration the headlight on my car went out and no matter where I went I could not find windshield wiper replacement blades from any if your competition!!! In fact one suggested that I replace the wipee arms since it was only $500.00!!!!
I called your Riverton, UT store who found the wiper blades I needed in your Sandy, UT store. I buzzed over to your Sandy store and the replacement blades I needed were waiting at the counter for me. Not only did Drew install the new wiper blades but when I asked if he could just show me what I needed to do replace the burnt out headlight he found the bulbs and helped me replace both headlight bulbs so I would not have to worry about the headlight bulbs for at least the near future!!!! As a single woman I struggle with having the strength in my hands to fix these minor repairs. My dad was always my "car helper" my heart ached with missing him and without knowing it Drew stepped up to the plate and helped my dad help me from heaven!!!
I will return to your stores for every single car part for the rest of my life because of the customer service of one young man!!!!!!!!
I hope someone at the corporate level can take a few minutes to reward this young man and as a organization you do whatever it takes to insure this yound man works for NAPA because he is an incredible ambassador for your business!!!!!
Sincerely,
Melinda Turpin

I have worked at a Napa Auto Parts store for 14years. I am the only female and can understand how, after reading reviews, customers can become upset. Our store takes every customer and treats them as if they were one of our family members. Sometimes there are instances that happen out of our control like a part that is boxed wrong, or a merch truck not making it on time in the morning due to weather conditions causing customers to wait longer for a special ordered part. I have found that by being honest and taking any step we can to assist in anyway has worked for us. I always get with each of our employees to make sure we are treating our customers like a relative and if we cant help them directly, we try to lead them to someone local who can and as quickly as possible. I am asking that if You have a bad experience with one store that does not mean NAPA as a company is all bad .. most were unfortunatly experience those who do not take pride in their store or their work as we do! We will continue to do more than our best and we ask that other stores step it up because NAPA parts are quality parts!
