I recently had an appointment for my daughter today at your location in the Boynton LensCrafters. I had an appointment in two Wednesdays prior and was told my copay was $39 I asked why she meaning receptionist informed me that it was because I would have the glaucoma tests done in me, I asked if this was optional? She said yes do I informed her I don't want any additional testing I would only like my eye exam to order glasses in which I did and am waiting on them now I asked if I can only pay my copay she stated I don't have one. So this time around I asked the receptionist after she informed me my daughters copay is $39 the same question if this was for the glaucoma test she said yes I informed her I declined and would only like the eye exam, well today apparently on the weekends it is not an optional test It is mandatory or else I would have to reschedule for a appointment during the week when it optional. I informed her I would reschedule over the phone and she canceled my appointment l. I would like to know why I was not informed of this policy upon scheduling over the website and how is this justified I will be reporting this to my insurance and the Better buisness bureau and report this for insurance fraud. Also when I received my text message stating that my glasses were ready for pick up the rx was not correct I can not see with this new rx that was given to me when I was asked if I had my rx glasses done there so they could compare I informed them yes my last pair was done there but good luck finding my chart as everytime I come in you guys always have to make a new chart for me because no one could ever find it. Of course he was unable to find it and asked if I could go back to the eye doctor there in the store and ask for copy of my prescription and they could not find it l. The doctor was determined to make me embarrassed by saying over and over again my appointment 2-3 years ago I was no showed in which yes I was but I had another appointment scheduled in which I did come, had my eye exam and got my glasses there along with my daughter. I the. Again asked if I could give her my appointment reservation number so she could look it up she said they don't need that and continued saying I was a no show and I kept informing her I got my glasses there along with my daughter I brought my daughters old prescription I which I saved because she wanted me to place an online order but I threw mine away because I knew I wasn't going to order anything I gave her dates and she then became rude and stated that " you just had to come now during my busiest time to bring this up right you just had to!" That's when I replied " Am I supposed know what your schedule looks like? Is it my fault that everytime I come here you guys have no record of me? I'm not backing you up isn't that why you have a receptionist? You can go an continue seeing your patients while I speak to your receptionist about finding my record" and she continued getting mouthy at me that's when the gentleman in the glasses came and tried to help in my record. And she continued so I told her to "take her ass back in there and see her patients" at that point I have had enough with her I was coming to just pick up my glasses and not expecting to spend an hour and get yelled at by your doctor because that office is unorganized. Also she got angry because her next patient was told to pay 39.99 for his exam and he asked why if it's her first of the year she the receptionist said it is for his glaucoma test he said he didn't want it she said ok come on in and I stated "why for him it's optional and when my 11 year old daughter came last Sunday it was mandatory because it was on the weekend if today was the weekend aswell what's the difference between last Saturday and this Sunday that's when the doctors snapped and got mouthy. Right after I told them she didnt needed that exam they offered I reschedule during the week while my daughter was in school. I was in my car and sure enough after I left the doctor ran out of the office to go home. She just made it up so she could go home early. I don't know what kind of fraudulent I organized establishment you are running here but suggest you investigate what's going on because it not right that your doctor gets mouthy at patients, you can't find records, your receptionist can't do her job and leaves all patient filled out forms facing up on her desk for everyone to see and scattered all over the desk which probably is the reason why your records are missing. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email or phone 5617197065.

I've never had a manger of any store hang up the phone on me. Your female manager at the Airport Blvd. store rudely hung up on me because she said "I was screaming at her" which is the farthest statement from the truth.

I brought back my glasses due to a manufacturer's defect, a piece of the frame cracked. I paid my 50.00 and asked if I could keep the defected glasses until my new ones arrive.

During the waiting period of the new pair I sat the glasses down on the side of my truck while unloading groceries. Obviously, I accidently left them laying on the outside of my truck because when our yard maintenance was mowing the following day he found one of the lenses on the ground where I park my truck. I'm not certain if they were ran over with the lawnmower but all we found was one lenses which I currently posses. It's identifiable due to the lenses prescription and the lenses being customized by Costa with a bevel around the lenses so they can secure with fishing line. Please note, I was told by another manager at the Bel Air Mall location a couple years ago that she had a customer that was on his lawnmower and accidently ran over his glasses, he found a piece of them in the yard and brought it to the store and she gladly replaced his glasses.

I've used Lens Crafters for all my glasses and contact needs since I was in my twenties. I've also owned costa products for the same amount of time. I'm now 57.

I'm so disappointed how the manager treated me, I doubt I will ever shop at your store again. I've been in the insurance customer service/litigation business for 22 years and presently run a litigation department for American Integrity Insurance in FL. The number one rule I tell all of my employees is: "You never have to tolerate abusive language but you DO NOT hang up on a paying customer if they are trying to express their concerns. I'm not certain how LensCrafters trains their managers in the art of handling upset customers but it should be revisited

I've read Affirms policy and conditions and DO NOT see an exclusion for additional damage occurring while you were waiting on your replacement glasses. This was sudden and accidental and was a direct result of covered damage. My policy wasn't voided or cancelled and was in place with the premium paid when this occurred.

I now have my replacement glasses at the store and the manager is stating that unless I bring her the old pair back fully intact, she will not allow me to pick up my replacement glasses. I FULLY understand there are conditions in the policy provisions that avoid customers from keeping their old glasses in order to have a spare pair, this IS NOT my situation, I have one scratched and damaged lenses that can be easily proven this was from the original pair I purchased. I'm currently without a pair of daytime prescription glasses and can't wear contacts due to dry eyes, this isn't acceptable due to me not being able to drive or see any type of danger.

I'm well versed in getting results when an insurance company and its associates don't treat the insured fairly, we call it "Bad Faith" in my department. Blatantly denying my legitimate claim will result in litigation. This will be my one and final request for LensCrafters and Affirm to act in good faith and follow their policy provisions. If you choose not to act in good faith, please send me a formal denial letter so I can start the process (3400 Riviere Du Chien Rd. Mobile AL. 3669.3

Lastly, why would a large company like LensCrafters have a manger running one of your stores with such a hostile and hateful manner? Is it not important tyo LensCrafters to have and retain return customers?

I would like a response from upper management regarding this situation within 24 hours. If not, I'll keep making phone calls and sending emails until I reach your cooperate offices. This will get resolved either in a pleasant or unpleasant manner, it makes no difference to me.

I had my glasses remade per my Dr.'s change. He wanted the distance brought down a bit however it was brought down 3m in one and 4mm in the other. I can't see well at all when I read or look at my computer. I'm beyond irritated and I was told they would look at the file and see if they could do anything! They should be redone so that the line isn't right in my line of sight so I can see. Dr. office said it was brought down too far. If something isn't done I will never go to Lenscrafters again and I spend almost $500. I am beyond irriatated.

I want you to know I will never buy another pair of eyeglasses from Len's Crafters, nor will I allow my 3 children to buy a pair of eyeglasses from Len's Crafters. I bought a pair of eyeglasses from your Vernon Hills, IL branch in the Townhall Mall. I also have never dealt with a more rude & obnoxious person than the manager at that store. The first time I brought in my prescription the lenses were not grounded to the correct prescription, so I took them back. The second time was not any better, they did not agree so I took my prescription back to the eye doctor & he verified the prescription was still not accurate.
Finally, the third time they did not fit the frames correctly, as they were too big & kept sliding off my nose. I gave up & went to Target Optical who was able to both ground the lenses correctly & fit me with the correct frames. I have a high prescription so it usually takes a couple of weeks before my prescription is prepared. Despite my buying Len's Crafter's extended protection policy, the manager refused to even talk to me. She said your eyeglasses are over 30 days old, & therefore I won't even discuss this with you. So, perhaps she will talk to the judge in small claims court & Len's Crafters can pay for their lawyer to appear in court. As a former attorney, I have no qualms about appearing in court.

I have 2 expenses pair if prescription eyeglasses. I just need both pairs to fit and not fall off my face. I was in your Avon, CT store today at approximately 4:00 speaking with a salesperson about purchasing lenses for frames I already had. My salesperson reacted immediately to a man coming in the store who she appeared to recognize. He was quite strange acting and carried a large plastic shopping bag. He went from shelf to shelf filling his bag and finally left the store with many frames. The woman I was working with, took pictures of him with her iPad. There was another customer in the store besides me, and there was another gentleman who worked in the store, who was called out to try and handle the situation. I was petrified and asked one of the other girls if I could go out in the back room my question to LensCrafters is isn't there anything that you can do to help keep your employees and customers safe from that sort of situation. Could a lock be put on the door so that people had to be let in? I questioned the situation and was told that the same person had done the same thing two times before. The police were called, but only after this man had left the store. I sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes trying to calm down, and I never saw any police presence at the store or in the parking lot.

I bought Ralph Lauren Glasses from Lens Crafters at Eastdale Mall in Montgomery, AL & I've NEVER had WORSE SEEViCE!! To start with they treat U like they could careless if your there or not!!

I told them my 81 year old mom was in the car could someone please help me!? There was A man on the phone I ask if he'd help me when he got off the phone but he didnt I had to go & find him & ask again for help (I don't know why I didn't leave) I picked two pair out but didn't buy them because I couldn't decide & they were definitely NO HELP!! I call the next day to see what time they close so I could arrange someone to sit with my mom they told me 8:00. I told them I was on the way to order & pay for the glasses I had picked out.

I got there at 7:40 the bars were down like they were closed I ask the employee threw the bars if he could please let me in so I could pay for my glasses he told me NO "He had to go pick his 1 year old up" I said its not 8 yet he said very RUDELY MAM I TOLD U I GOT TO GO GET MY KID!! They could of saved me A hour drive & sitter fees for my mom had they told me when I called that they would NOT Be there to 8:00 like they were suppose to be!! So I went back 2 days later (like A idiot) because SERVICE AGAIN WAS HORRIBLE!! I Also wanted Perscription Sunglasses & ask if they had any deal on those they said No all they had was 40 off lens.

I go pick my glasses up they were loose I ask them to tighten them he got them "Acted like he tighten them" Just with his hands!! Then I go to Mobile AL to see my daughter my glasses were so loose they were fallen off my face so Thankfully the Lens Crafters there said they could tighten them for me & they did & their Customer Service Was AMAZING!! I ask the manager if they had any deals on 2nd pair of glasses or sunglasses he said when you bought yours they should of offered you 40% off lens & 40% off the frames THEY DID NOT!!

So Im just wandering if yall tolerade this kind of service? I hadn't had my glasses 30 days yet & thinking I may take them back & buy somewhere else because the treatment & charges were UNACCEPTABLE!!

We have full eye glass coverage and the entire family has used LensCrafter as our provider. There is not enough room in this comment box to describe the negative experience we had. The product was very late , there was know communication and the nickle and dining was out of control ... they wanted to syphon every penny that our insurance had to offer...we will never shop there again. Promotional harassment....the emails are never ending..product is second quality.

I picked up my new glasses from Lenscrafters in Kingston NY on Sat Aug 26th and after just 11 days they developed some cloudy spots in the middle of the lenses. I just came back from visiting their store and I was told that they were "scratches" and were not covered and I would have to pay an additional $300 for new lenses. I have been wearing glasses for over 25 years and I've never had this happen to me before, ever!!. I did not abuse these glasses in any way, shape or form. If these developed scratches after only 11 days of normal use then there is something terribly wrong with their lenses. I drove to their store so I could get a pair of "quality" glasses but apparently I made a huge mistake. I paid over $500 for these glasses and for them to fail this way is just unacceptable. Again, I in no way abused these glasses. This was from simple normal wear and use after only 11 days. I am not a happy camper! No response to e-mails to the manager and the sales folk were less than empathetic. I had a 30 day warranty and it clearly stated that my glasses were "scratch resistant, When I showed this to the salesperson she just said "Yeah, scratch resistant not "scratch proof"!!!!!???? Never again!

Have been purchasing prescription glasses and sunglasses from LensCrafters for over 25 years. Have never had a problem until now. My glasses reflective coating is peeling off the lenses. I have always had reflective coating and this has never happened before. Explained this to the store where I purchased and today the corporate number was contacted and again explained. They both are telling me nothing can be done to rectify these defective lenses except at the store 50 dollars off a new pair of glasses and today corporate says they could send me 40% off a new pair of glasses. I just want the defective lenses replaced! These glasses are only a little over a year old. They do not stand behind their product! Told them I would write a negative review and take my business elsewhere. LensCrafters just doesn't care about their customers!

The rudest staff I've ever come across. They are not knowledgeable at all and it seems a chore to wait in someone.

Disappointed.I got a pair of glasses I can't use.I brought them back because I can't see clearly through them and because there progressive she told me I needed to get use to them. So for the 2nd time I wore them for 2 days still can't see through them.30 days are up. The manager not very friendly.Actually rude.

Absolutely disgusted with the service in the Exton Pa store located on Main Street...We ended up walking out of store

I purchased glasses at $620.00 and I am on BlueMedicare Choice aadvantage. This is an insurance which lenscrafters has an in-network policy. At time of purchase I advised I was entitled per my BCBS medicare insurance I get a $200.00 lens/frame allowance. The rep stated I had to write to "community eyewear" and gave me an address. BCBS reps I spoke with afterwards were appalled. Not only should I have gotten the discount at time of purchase, I had been given the wrong address for "community eyewear". I was told to call HDQ and I have gotten emails and promises of a callback but after a week I can't get a customer service rep to help and if I must send in for a retroactive rebate the wake can be over 8 weeks! Sometime you are promised call within 1 day, sometimes 2 business days and one response stated "if you don't hear from us in 5 business dates to fill out another form! This is quite frankly the lowest form of cust. svc. They were quick in taking my 620.00 for glasses though!

LensCrafters at Town center Boca Raton. Service and employees are the worst level. It's all about making more money. Overcharged and abusing customers it's what they are about. It's a scam business in a mall .

Bought glasses less then a year ago, right lens scratched up, I was told I didn't clean them right, not happy with their customer service at Lenscrafters Tom's River NJ, they will not do anything for me because I didn't have the extended warranty! Terrible how they treat repeat customers!! Will never recommend them to anyone!!

I had the same pair of glasses made 3 times and then another seperate pair made once.

I had to do returns each and every time.

I am currently without glasses for 5 months.

Ordered glasses from Italy. Gave me white label China, UK/CA, Japan, Twain! I have no clue where they were made.
Then they laugh sinker, then they tell me I can't ware my new glass with. A stigna -tisem , why did they sell them to me ? Should they have a section for speciality glasses? " like you can't get these. And why did they not do my eye exam first?
I don't recommend lense crafters at UPMALL.

I have been a loyal Lens Crafters customer for years across 3 states, Kentucky, South Carolina, and most recently, Colorado. I made an appointment for my yearly eye exam for today, 4/10 at the Lens Crafters in Colorado Springs and this morning I woke up to a voice mail from Jasmine. Well Jasmine proceeds to tell me that because I didn't submit the online forms by 4/8, that they cancelled my appointment for today, and they gave my appointment to someone else. I looked at the screenshots of all of their communications to me, none of which said to have the forms done by 4/8, which I had submitted last evening prior to my appointment today. In fact, the email and text messages said that for convenience and to save time, to submit them before the appointment today and also gave me an option to print the forms to fill out and bring in for the appointment. Nobody told me to have them completed by 4/8. I will not be doing business with Lens Crafters ever again. If poor customer service were listed in a dictionary, then Lens Crafters would have a picture of themselves beside it. This is inexcusable.

Hi my experience at LensCrafters the one inside the stonewood Mall, the employee was Monica Gomez she said she was the ass in Downey, the Manager at this store, this employee was super rude and very unprofessional to me, I have never experienced never like this in previous visits, the lady told me they didn't charged me for the eye exam and I asked her if she was charging me for that at that time and I asked her why nobody call me about that ? So her response was "I don't know " so I asked her don't you know that if something like this happens you suppose to call the customer what about if I'm thinking they did charged for that because I used my Care credit card, I'm a Cash patient! And her response was very rude she didn't stop talking until I asked her to stop and call someone to help me because she was super rude and unprofessional very un respectful and vey loud all customers turning to see what was happening! This is very bad experience at this store I though it was the best place after my experience with American's Best .. I was going in a very good mood and happy to pick up my Prada Glasses and when she talked to me everything went down the toilet, ridiculous lady! I don't understand how this lady can be the manager at that place honestly !

lenscraft in Coral Springs has poor service, we arrived at 5pm on April 7, 2023 to fit the children's glasses as we are a customer of said store. After waiting for 25 minutes, Mr. Richarson began to serve us and adjusted the girl's glasses at the same time that he began to attend to another lady. She really ignored us because she focused on the other client who arrived after us and left us waiting to adjust child's glasses. and it was not adjusted because she went with Mrs. we feel discriminated against now that we are hispanos and the the othe costumer is american. Too bad because we had a good experience.

Absolutely ridiculous the LensCrafters that I went to. I work in the customer service industry and I don't normally do stuff like this but I just have too, i paid for a pair of glasses and was told it was going to take 2 weeks for them to be done. A month later I get a call that my glasses broke in the lab so the resent my script in for the glasses to be redone. 2 more weeks later and the glasses still weren't done. So I went in and got my refund that I have still yet to receive because it takes 7-10 business days for it to be returned to me but yet LensCrafters had no problem taking the money for the glasses right out of my account. But I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund? Absolute bull crap. Alls I got was I'm sorry that was it. I will never go back there again!

Unbelievably unprofessional business! They called me an hour before my scheduled appointment and told me they were going to give my appointment away if a walk in were to get there before me. I live 40+ minutes away and was almost out the door. They said that they implemented a new policy that if the patient doesn't confirm their appointment they day before, they would automatically give my spot away. They literally gave me one chance to confirm and I had less than 24 hours notice. I checked all my text messages, emails and voicemails and only had ONE voicemail. He told me they sent out 2 messages and 2 emails and two voicemails. I had ONE freaking voicemail. A business that doesn't communicate and state their new policies upfront (that you have to confirm) and lies about how many messages they sent out, is automatically losing my business! I'm not one to go on a rant or write a bad review but guys... this was just a terrible experience!!! I was even planning on buying a few pairs of designer glasses with upgrades. Oh well, I guess they're not hurting...

I was at Lens Crafters Vaughan Mills store
on June 20, 2023. As soon as I stepped in the main entrance, a friendly, good looking and courteous staff approached me and readily asked me how she can help. Actually I was in there for only a minor adjustments if my glasses. She politely attended to my need with ease giving me a comfort experience above and beyond, customer service par excellence. I will surely share this excellent experience and recommend this store with my friends and colleagues.
This experience would not been possible without the superb service by Amy.
Commendable all through.

All the best,

I broke my glasses recently and needed to get them repaired on a Sunday. The only eyeglass center open was LensCrafters in Vernon, CT. I did not buy these glasses at a LensCrafters so I really didn't think they would help me out. I was wrong. Not only did they fix my glasses, they did it for free. I am so appreciative of the staff there. Thank you
I believe the woman's name was Carla but I'm not positive.

My husband went in to get a new prescription because it's been failing too soon, the Dr that examined him told him he should be having cataract surgery before he gets new glasses again. This Dr was honest to my husband instead of keeping on selling him glasses that won't last but a couple months. I love this type of customer service and appreciate saving us money and getting him the surgery he needs thank you

We had the most incredible experience at the Plainfield Metropolis store. You have the most incredible staff and Dr Hudack are amazing. They are very happy staff and everyone is smiling. They make for a great experience. While we were there we watched them bring such cheer and ease to their job. Giving each customer personal care. While asking those waiting to please give them a moment to finish. Then they would be happy to help them. They are very attentive to their and make for such a great visit. Most of the staff their age usually want to get you out and ignore you. You staff in this store is NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL!!! They are truly are wonderful all of them. Please give your staff kudos. They truly deserve it!! Thank you and we are Lenses Crafters customers for life.

I went for a repair. It was taken care of quickly, efficiently and I was treated courteously.

I work for Lenscrafters. Severe understaffing makes it near impossible to do a good job. Corporate greed has resulted in constant cuts in hours & very high pressure working conditions. We want to provide excellent service but normal human beings cannot wait on 7 people at once. The executives simply don't want to invest in the business.
