They overcharge for parts by 3x. They take 3 days for a 2 hour job. They do not value return customers and underestimate the consequences of their poor customer service and quality.

Horrible experience at the Schaumburg, Il store.
Purchased 4 new tires and alignment. At the time of write up I instructed sales person to swap one hood rear tire for the spare and the other rear tire to be put loose in back of truck for a future spare. Sales person said no problem. They called to say it was ready. I confirmed they swapped spare and put loose tire in back. He said yes!!!! Arrived and paid for service. Looked at spare, not done, no loose tire in back. Told sales person, he said they would take care of. Been at store over 1-1/2 hrs. Now spare is done, no loose tire. Said they got all mixed up with other bad tires. Basically said there is nothing they can do. Horrible customer service. I Will make it my mission to get the word out.

Made appt to get tires 5 days in advance and was assured they would have the tires there for me when I arrived for installation. I arrive and tires were never ordered so they say come back in 1.5 hrs and we'll make a special trip to warehouse to get the tires for you. I go back and they take my keys and I wait. After 30 minutes, I walk outside and my car is still parked in the lot. I ask for my keys and leave. They offer me $25 off my bill which I don't have because they don't have any tires for my car!!!!!!!!!

Just called fire stone and ask them about checking my tire to see if I needed a new one and putting some air in. In the entire store there was not one tire gauge that wasn't broken. They could not check my tire so therefore I could not buy a tire from you. Do you not have a manager?

They know when I'm calling so no answer no call back from "corporate" brought car in and they said it's fixed drove down the street and it was worst than before! Came back and they said it's! The! Strut! Paid for 1 on Rside. Paid about 1400$! Took it bk again and guy at front said leave it here and we will fiddle with it. I was so upset and left and their mechanics did not want to talk to me. I've called and never a call back or email about my complaint. Central phx are nothing but scammers, Paid themselves but not the female owner. Let's see if you ignore this!

Firestone Denville,NJ store. I made a 2:PM appointment for a High mileage Oil change for 8/23/23. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment.I was told by the manager that there was a one and a half hour wait for a 20 minute oil change.A customer's time is valuable, that's why you make appointments in the first place. Waiting 15 to even 30 minutes is not totally unreasonable, but no more than that. Sad to say, this is what usually happens at Firestone. The service is one of the worst in the auto business. It is no wonder with all these complaints, that they are losing customers at a rapid pace. DS

I was each day for 3 days to bring my car back the next day. on the Third day I had an appointment for 9:30 am. They said it would be ready at 12 so I requested to schedule another time. I was then informed it would be ready at 11:00 am. By 12:30 I had not received a phone call so I called for an update. The Auto care advisor (Greg) that answered the phone had an attitude. An proceeds to say the car SHOULD be ready in 30 ministers. I then headed back up to the shop and waited until 1 pm. I was late for work due to the dishonesty of the employee and also had an uber scheduled for an hour and a half time frame, and unfortunately lost payment because of the extra wait time.

My wife a senior citizen lives about a mile from this Firestone Tire, 85 Tunnel Rd. Asheville, NC 28805 She got a screw in a tire and immediately drove to Firestone. The tire went totally flat to the rim in the parking lot. Although they were open for 2.5 more hours the manager Damon Fyock told her he did not have time to help her. He instructed her to drive to another tire store down the street. She told him she didn't feel the car could make it. He didn't even offer to put air in the tire. Patrick the sales assoc watched her drive away on the rim. She made it to Mr. Tire and they fixed the flat for free. I called Mr. Fyock this morning 6/28/23 to understand how he could do that to a senior lady. Patrick at the front desk gave him the message but he chose not to call me. Since Mr. Fyock told her to drive on the rim she did and of course the tire is now ruined. She needs 4 tires due to having all wheel drive. My point is you don't treat people let alone a stranded older woman like Damon Fyock did.

I had a wheel bearing replaced, when I went to pick up the car. The bill was $490.00
He gladly took my credit card and then refused to give me a paper copy of the receipt,
I asked many time, nope thats how things are done these days.

It pisses me off $490 and no receipt.....

Absolutely the worst. Drove my car to Firestone for a small sound and now I am without a vehicle. The service person told be to take it to the jeep dealership. I had to have my vehicle towed at my expense. Horrible mechanics and a incompetent service manager. The charged me over a thousand dollars for al this aggravation which went on for 4 weeks. Totally unprofessional and insensitive organization. Stay clear of the Firestone in Okatie SC.

My Waited 7 Hours With An Appointment And Charged Him For Things He Did Not Need Find Some Where Else To Go When You Make An Appointment We So It For A Reason

I've made an online appointment 3 times for store# 022764 (Hallandale Beach, FL) and each time the store clerks have called me to reschedule for a later time that was not conducive to my schedule. On the 3rd occurrence I explained to the clerk this was the 3rd time has happened. He didn't care and offered to cancel the appointment which he did. I contacted customer to file a complaint and book an appointment. To my surprise when I arrived at the store no appointment was scheduled. I contacted customer service again and no records was entered into the system of an appointment or complaint. This has been the worst and exhausting experience I've had since I've been a customer of FS.

Firestone

Steer clear of this place

Get a tow or whatever you need to go to ANY OTHER REPAIR SHOP.
I took my BMW 128i there shortly after I moved to Florida. You may be thinking " well she should've known better than to take that there" . I most likely would have gone elsewhere but had been using Firestone in Centennial, Co. for awhile and they did good work.
The cam position sensor had come up as service soon before I left Denver but went away until November. It started acting up so took it to Firestone on 14th St. in Bradenton. They replaced sensor. Service engine light still on when I picked it up. Occasionally it takes car couple days to recognize new part. It got considerably worse. Took it back in . They said it now needed crank shaft sensor. Had them put it in. First one was defective. Had it 2 days. Picked it up service light still on. They told me it probably would be as they had drained battery testing part. Well car started throwing off codes for everything. They sent me to another one of their locations that without even looking at car said it was drive chain‼️ I knew it wasn't as that makes a lot of noise. So called around found another shop.
They let it sit for 5 days total telling me they were having trouble getting help. It was a German auto shop. Finally I went and picked it up. Took it to German Auto Services. They discovered that they can sensor was NOT EVEN INSTALLED ALL THE WAY INTO cam shaft! It was literally hanging from it! I have no idea how car even started.
So had to have diagnostic and computer reboot. Then cam & crank shaft sensors redone. German Auto Service took pictures of " hanging sensor " & striped screw that was shooting oil all over. I contacted firestones corporate offices. They were supposed to have regional manager contact me. Instead they had store manager call. Of course they denied everything. I said I had pictures. Still denied but offered me $250. ‼️ It was just shy of $900 that I paid them‼️ another $900 to get it fixed plus $230 for diagnostic & reboot‼️ so a month of frustration, all together over $2000 for what should've been $900 PERIOD‼️
I'll never even let them check my tires again‼️

Firestone ruined my car!! I took my Lexus in for them to replace the starter. When I got the car back, it made a whining noise. I had it towed back to Firestone. They said it was the power steering pump, which they replaced. I got the car back and it continued to whine even worse. Took it back to them. They said it was the alternator. They replaced it. Car continued to whine. They finally said they didn't know what was wrong - told us to go to the Lexus dealership and ask them - and they'd "make it right." Their words. Lexus determined that the power steering pump was installed incorrectly and leaking fluid badly. The high pressure line was installed incorrectly and the support mounts were not even used! I presented the findings to Firestone. They refused to fix the car - just offered to give our money back. The car is not drivable, now. It's sitting in the driveway and I can't even sell it in the condition they left it in! I appealed to Consumer Affairs in Tennessee. Made no difference. Firestone thinks they don't have to fix any mistakes their mechanics make. So now I have to figure out what to do next. I hope this review will warn others about taking their car to Firestone. This incident occurred at Firestone in Watauga, TX - 7752 Denton Hwy. - Watauga, TX.

I just had the most scariest experience at Firestone complete in St. Paul. I took my car to get new new tires and paid a lot. Because I'm a girl, I was deceived and cheated. I realized my tires was flat and didn't seem like it was new. After asking for explanation why my car is still the same, I was yelled at, cursed at, and got called the cops on me. Literally, the most terrifying thing that ever happened. I'm shaking.

Firestone Auto Care in Somersworth NH has got to do better. You have 2 great guys John and Zach are just amazing. Great personality. There was a Greg his boss name Patrick that guy treated people very bad and said "You can always go somewhere else" wow!! This guy is taking this great name to the drains. He's got to go.

I am at the Firestone on hwy80, Jackson, MS. The customer service is horrible. The young lady checking customers in and out seems and looks like she doesn't want to be at work today. Lethargic best describes her demeanor. I truly believe employees set the atmosphere and she's not doing a very good job at her job. ??

I want to thank Frazier and his crew in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I had an emergency car repair while visiting Myrtle Beach. They were able to fix the car so I could return to my home state of Pennsylvania without an extended delay. I am so grateful.

This is "Dave in Knoxville" who posted yesterday about the Firestone Center on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee.
I received a call today at about 1:30 PM from Jerry. I forwarded a copy of my post to them last night. He asked what he could do to help. During our conversation, he more thoroughly explained what was not explained well the day before...he had been quoted out of context. He explained how some valve stem monitors, not all, could create problems. He explained that it doesn't take high temperatures to break down a tire, that running a flattening tire as little as TWENTY FEET, can make a tire unreliable and dangerous. He explained the reason Firestone never just "water soaks and plugs a tire" but rather takes them apart to be certain the integrity of the tire has not been compromised. I was originally told there was a "white dust" in the tire...which meant nothing to me and sounded like a bunch of c***. When I looked in the tire in my trunk I could see the shaved rubber, don't understand how that happened but it did happen.
Jerry has offered to resolve my problem completely to my satisfaction, I believe after having spoken with him, that he will. I will be returning to Firestone today.

I would like to thank the staff of the Frestone located on Tanglewilde and Westheimer in Houston TX. Stephanie and Angel were very friendly! I was having some strange grinding going on when I stopped quickly and Stephanie saw a few mistakes with my brakes that had been done about a couple of months prior to today at another Firestone location. Everything was replaced from the rotors to the pads under warrantly with no questions asked...just a smile. I have found my new store locations and will continue to bring my Mini Cooper and VW to this location from now on. Thank you again for the servuce with a smile!!

I need to report the outcome of a recent sales transaction that occurred in Kinston, NC. I called this store on 2/17/14 to inquire about 4 tires for my 2005 Lincoln LS. I had downloaded a price quote from one of your websites. A rep named Steve took my information and agreed to hold the 4 PZ900 tires for me. I called him again on 2/18 and explained I would not be arriving to pick them up until 2/19, and he again assured me he would hold them. So, we had several conversations about my car being in the repair shop and my needing to come there and buy tires, and how the local Camp Lejeune shop did not have the tires I wanted. I had to rent an SUV to drive all the way there from Jacksonville, about 1.5 hours. When I arrived I was told that Steve was not there, and that they would not sell me the tires. A man named Stevie apologized for the misunderstanding and that they assumed I was coming with my car to have the tires put on. But, Steve said he could not sell me the tires without my car. So I would not break down crying in the lobby, I just turned around and walked out to my vehicle. As I sat there, Steve came out and said that he was calling the district office to see if he could in fact sell me the tires. While waiting, I explained to him that my car was in the repair shop because I had had an accident due to my tires being bad. I had run into a ditch and into a tree during the 2/11 snowstorm, so it was impossible for me to drive my car all the way to Kinston to buy the tires. To make matters worse, I had a new job all the way in Asheville, NC (6 hours away) I was supposed to start in 2 days. Thankfully, the district office told him that he could honor what I was told, and he sold me the tires for the price I was quoted online. In spite of the unfortunate ordeal that occurred, Steve was completely professional, courteous, and genuinely compassionate. It's so difficult these days with most businesses crumbling ethical values, and Jacksonville is notorious for taking advantage of women and military service members. So, the fact that Steve went above and beyond for me today was absolutely amazing. He has restored my faith in people. Corporate needs to recognize this man, and I will forever be grateful to him. Steve didn't just sell me a tire today, he made a difference in my life! Thanks to him, I will not lose my job. Please, tell him thank you again for me. I'm now a customer for life, thanks to him.
