Home loan required proof of insurance. Sent proof via fax as requested including, the HOA policy & our supplemental policy as well. They say they never get it. Meanwhile we had been charged for their home loan insurance; $1K month in escrow account to pay for yearly policy. This money was never reimbursed to the account, as they stated every time contacted; proof never received. Then the loan was transferred; bought out, by BofA. Same thing happened with BofA now OCWEN.

The person who dealt with my case was the rudest ever. It was a genuine claim for a loss of a private paid hearing aid. My hair had just been washed so I could not wear the aid and out it in my handbag along with the other one. When my bag was spilt I assumed I had gathered up my belongings but was missing one hearing aid. Although I was being truthfully honest I felt as if I was being interrogated and my claim was refused.. Why would I try to con them with rhe loss of only ONE hearing aid when I had 2? Totally disappointed and if they do not change their attitude soon they will lose a lot of customers as there is a lot of competion out there......

countrywide house insurance, the worst ever, i was made to feel like a fraud and and criminal, i was putting in a genuine claim, having never claimed before, and the guy treated me like i was an idiot and i was lying, ive never felt so small and so disgusted, i have written formally to complain and i will not stop there, the guy was quick to cancel my insurance. countrywide are the frauds, where is the peace of mind for their customers... disgraceful... i will also cancel my buildings insurance with them now, i did not deserve to be treated that way and i do not trust them now... stay away from this company. They make you feel terrible. So upsetting.

We had our mortgage with Countrywide -- everything was fine, I thought. We paid the mortgage off and Countrywide sent us a lein release (too bad it isn't worth the paper it's wrote on). Bank of America was "taking over" Countrywide at that time.
We put our house on the market, got a contract and low and behold - our lein has NOT been released (Bank of America should have done this) Now all we are getting is the run around - it has been a month now and we are still calling and talking to different people everyday - WE JUST WANT THE LEIN RELEASED! How difficult could that be?
Wonder if getting a lawyer would help??????

I have been on hold with Countrywide for approximately 45 minutes. Apparently it is too much to ask for them to update my billing address. I went through all of their steps months ago, but they continue to send my statements to my old address. I am now on hold to speak with the 4th representative. Ugh!

Countrywide recorded our 2nd twice...now we are trying to refinance with another loan company to consolidate our 1st and 2nd at a better rate because Countrywide will not work with us to do so, and the other company will! We have been trying for 1 month now to have the 2nd that is recorded twice removed so we can go forth with our new loan, and COUNTRYWIDE IS HOLDING US HOSTAGE!!!!!! There is no one we can talk to to help us. We have been told there has been a rush put on this, 3 different times!!...being told it will take 48 hours, and then 72 hours another time, and then another time it will take 72 hours...and NOTHING IS BEING DONE!! Countrywide is an awful company to work with. They have jerked us around to the point I am going to call a lawyer, or let the whole thing fore-close...then they won't get near what they would if they would stop holding us hostage. Of you who are getting a second through Countrywide, make sure they don't record it more than once..I think it is a ploy they use to hold people hostage to continue to be with a company that treats their customers like trash! They will run you around to the point of utter frustration! DO NOT USE COUNTRYWIDE/B of A for your home loan under any circumstance...the are horrible!!

I have been attempting to contact a "warm body" concerning my CD account since 9:20 a.m. CST. It is now 11:15 a.m. I also attempted to send an e-mail to C/S at the address listed, but the e-mail would not go through (see below) : [email protected]
"The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system?"

I will now move my $$ to a more responsive institution.

Customer service and the refi depts were polite, they introduced themselves by first and last name, and they listened well.
However, they both suggested that I talk to someone in loan consultation since I've lost my job. The woman in loan consultation was a whole different story. Her service was possibly the WORST I've ever gotten anywhere. First she gave me no name. She asked me no questions except whether I had checked on refinancing. I said that I had, and it was not the best option for me since I intend to sell before 6 six years is up.

She only heard the 'sell' part and told me that I cannot adjust my mortgage to suit "My whims", and that I need to just pay it for the month. (I already paid for the month). She then went on to lecture me about paying my mortgage in the future, in spite of the fact that I have NEVER paid late and have always paid in full...for the eight years I've had the loan! She accused me of wanting to NOT pay the mortgage AT ALL until it sells! The house isn't even for sale, and I had suggested no such arrangement. As she went on in her lecture, I stopped her to ask for her full name. She told me only "Denise". Knowing there must be dozens or hundreds of Denise's at Countrywide, I asked for her last name. She refused. I told her that if she's so certain of her advice, she should have NO problems telling me her last name. She said "I don't give my last name out". She then said she was going to transfer me back to customer service. She did and I got a recording saying that they were closed. So much for trying to pay them in the future. Looks like I'll have to refi with another company or foreclose.

Very difficult to connect with customer service or your accounting department to make a payment for my insurance premium, finally got through after 2 days of calling. made payment today, Nov 11th, but it says payment won't be posted till Nov 15th????? Hopefully this won't cause a civil penalty for non-insured vehicle with DMV?? Payment was made for me by my brother through his checking acct. and it was confirmed received by Gina in your accounting dept.
