Sackville Nova Scotia needs someone to stop into your business because the younger people are ignorant and rude plus can order parts right. Please stop into business. I looked up parts with my receipt and new that parts was not right, many of my friends said same.

I went to the Carquest in Marble Falls and no one was in the store. As I walked up to the counter a couple of guys walked up one with some parts in his hands. Speaking to both of them, I stated what I was there to get, and was told by one the one w/part that I would have to wait. And I asked why do I need to wait there are two of you and I am the only customer here. That's when I started to get yelled at by the employee. I told him if you wanted my business he would wait on me. Got yelled at some more, I told him I was taking my business elsewhere and that he just lost money for Carquest.

They don't stand behind their products. Customer Service reps won't return e mails.
I have a Mustang 11 steering rack that leaked in the first year .The store won't do anything because even though they know I bought it there, the bill went missing and they claim they cannot find it in their records given the date and amount. They won't do anything in Brighton Ontario.
Numerous calls to Car quest and even Advance Auto Parts management got me nowhere, even after they said they would honour the LIFETIME warranty.
They said they would replace it , now they won't respond to me
The owner went so far as to say and tell Carquest I didn't buy it there.
His old partner overruled him years ago on a issue where I was right , now it's pay back .
Lousy way to treat a 20 plus year customer at other Car Quest stores

A part was put on my truck that isnot a good fit. Been told it is correct however nobody can make it work. It is a bad part and the clutch pulley does not align no matter what is done. I have recipt for compressor.

Goderich Ont store sucks big time since it went corporate. I've had two incidents with them. They took my cash for a brake booster but when I returned with core they had no cash to give me. I ended up taking it out in oil filters. I bought a fuel pump two years ago, was told it had a life time warranty, it also says this on the box. It started to leak, now they say it only has a one year warr. Don't waste your time with Better Business, I submitted a review, they didn't even publish it...in fact there are zero reviews. I won't buy anything from Carquest again.

This store is a joke. The people here are ridiculous. I purchased a brand new Optima battery from this store and within a few months it died. I still had my receipt and they tested the battery and found that it was a bad battery. They never called me and told me that the battery they sold me was bad I actually had to go back and tell them that I had dropped off my battery for them to test a few months ago because I never received a phone call from them. I had to bring in a copy of my bank transcript to prove that I had purchased it from them because they lost my receipt paperwork that I brought to them the first time. When I asked for my money back because it was clearly a bad battery and by this time I didn't need this battery. (purchased on 10/08/2020 they just got around to it today 02/15/2022) they said no. You can just have this "new battery"

Horrible service from some rude lady at a Columbia Missouri location named Ashley she was short and snappy when asking for help. Then later was seen in her work vehicle texting and driving and pretty sure she was smoking in the company vehicle also

Carquest Auto Parts retail outlet at 1952 Ashland Street, Ashland, Oregon is defiantly claiming that they (the owner/manager, presumably) will expect local law enforcement (presumably the Ashland Police Department and Jackson County Sheriffs Department) to enforce Oregon's trespass law against "any officials from OSHA, any health authorities.." and other government employees who arrive to survey or enforce Governor Brown's mask mandate.

Here's a transcript their "manifesto" presented on the store's front door:

"WARNING! NO TRESPASSING
Carquest Ashland Auto Parts
1952 Ashland St. 488-0803

Any officials from OSHA, any health authorities or any government officials who are here on any government business including unconstitutional mandates, such as mask wearing and lockdown are excluded from entering this property! If you violate this notice we will call the Sheriff to enforce this No Trespass notice. In addition to that I will file a lawsuit to sue you in private capacity for it is a crime to violate this warning and enforce a mandate that is NOT law. You should get another job for your boss is putting you in harm,Äôs way.

Enforcing an unconstitutional mandate or law is a felony!

I was in the Anaconda Mt. Store when a counter person named Dan asked me my name. When l was leaving the store he told me to have a nice day then i told him to do the same. He replied with an unexpeded response "GO FU*K YOURSELF". This is unprofessional,unexpected and unacceptable behavior. This individual should be terminated from employment asap.

There is a local Carquest in Ashland Oregon who refuses to obey the national mandate for masks. Its a mandate here. I hope you protect the public health of your customers. I will never set foot in there again. There are a lot of choices in the auto parts world and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Just read Alex's review, I had a similar situation in the Stratford store, the manager was rude, not helpful at all. then tried to sell me used parts of his own. I went to the Stratford store for my parts but I'm capable of going to a wreckers myself thanks. this guy thinks he's all that. I wont bring my business there again.

I was in the Stratford CARQUEST recently, I was ignored by the manager, and a female employee, who were definitely close and had each other hands all over one another, what a way to run a business. when I did get his attention he was rude but had enough arrogance to say I'm the manager. like I was inconveniencing him. I told him to go back to his girlfriend, I took my business to Ideal. very professional. great service.

Stratford store is brutal. Worst customer service. Then offers a deal if you pay cash no receipt. I have heard manager John has been doing this for years but never had it happen to me. Till now.

My elderly grandmother over paid for a car battery from the Frazier Park location and the car kept stalling afterwords. Triple A came out and saw the connectors were loose AND DIRTY. Carquest didnt even bother to do the basic brushing off of the connectors before installing. When she went back for help, as the battery is still not working the guy didnt want to help. She asked if he could at least look at the battery to see if there were any obvious issues, the guy came out and LOOKED at it with his eyes for 3 seconds and walked back in the shop! ANY basic battery sales/installation includes checking connections and other obvious and small things. It's not complicated or hi-tech thing to do. Yet this store and employee couldnt even do that. I'm sure if a healthy man was the customer instead of a frail senior woman, he would've done his job!!!

Car quest is remaining open , even after our governor ordered shelter in place !!! Putting employers and their families at risk . How can this be stopped !!! We live in Central California, this is no joke !! Please fix this !!!!!!

You have the worset store period in Willow Creek Ca...how in the heck do you hire a manager that is a complete idiot...hands down worset experience ever..I will never use ur place ever again, now I have to travel over the mountain to get my parts....

Last weekend while I was in a CarQuest in Lebec, CA that I stopped while going thru the area. There's a young girl working there- she looks like she's barely 14- She wore a CarQuest shirt but I did not see a name badge.
She was very rude and not helpful and when I asked if I could get some help she mumbled under her breath and walked away. I finally got help from another guy but I did not appreciate being treated like that by a teenager in a store I usually get good service in other areas. I asked for the manger but he was off that day.

I purchased a moog stocking ball joint that I didnt not need anymore at carquest in Turlock Ca.,and I was told I couldn't return it because it was past 7 days!!! brand new in box wasn't I suppose to be made aware of this before purchase?! it was not an outside purchase for them it was in their Modesto store after complaining I get a refund but after I paid $57.99 I only received $46.99...terrible

I purchased a few parts on carquest located on 803 s 1st San Jose ca.95110 my customer change his mind and I end up returning them but I had to pay $43 for restocking fee wish I didn't know at the time I bought them
I really think it's a rip off but that's not all I can handle that but what I can't handle is the attitude and the rudeness of the owners towards me no customers skills and bad language I'll never purchase anything from carquest ever again. ....

Tony brown in Glasgow MT store is a very poor manager and the operations that went on were ridiculous. I worked with him for nearly a year and I was amazed at the level of disrespect.

Worst attitudes ever..corporate needs to really fire the manger there..sold me a broken part .told me he would not give me my money back..now im stuck with a broken part and lost out in momey and time..he told me get the f out and i got burned and to go to napa b...this was the worst place i have eber been..corporate needs to get involved..they all where standimg around doing nothing...never go there..they do not stand behind there product and they all need to get fired..i hope something comes of this because if i where carquest id be embarrassed of they way they represent them...

I have had a charge account at our local CARQUEST store in Malta, Montana for over 30 year, Solberg Farms of Malta. I had one of my men go to the local store this morning to purchase a part for his pickup and he was told that I no longer have a charge account. I spoke with the manager and it seems I was late on my bill some time in the past which I reply..... "Guilty as charged." So my account has disappeared. I asked the manager how much I owe and she said "It appears that you have $12 credit." I said so you owe me money, but I don't have an account to charge on any longer. I understand in the big picture that you need policies to stay current on your "Accounts Receivable" but shouldn't you look at history before you pull them off the books.

I recently got help from Mike Fochtman's Carquest in Hillman, MI. They were extremely helpful, changed the battery in my car fob, and then sold me a battery and replaced it for no charge. The entire experience was pleasant, professional, and fast. I am very glad my battery died in Hillman, as this business was close by.

Belleview, FL...Called & spoke with Lori today about a Power sport battery. Lori was so pleasant & helpful on the phone. Lori was super nice & helpful once we got to the store to purchase the battery. Have never been to a Carquest before, but thanks to Lori, I will definitely go again!!!

On Sunday I called Carquest in Livingston Montana and spoke to Christine about getting a new battery for my vehicle. She was helpful and advised she would get my battery in from Billings by Monday or Tuesday. It was a special battery and she advised that she had a special delivery coming to the area where I worked. On Tuesday morning a delivery person named Liz delivered my battery and picked up my battery core. The Carquest team exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend their store. I just want to take my time to let you know my experience with Mario Collado, What a service, I called Mario on 10/18/2019 answer my question, order my parts as well as check-in availability with other location Mario is very polite, and knowledge Mario knows what he is doing. I had bought parts before on this location, but for some reason, customer service was very bad, so I stop going, now that I know that Mario is working more in the morning taking orders I will most definitely go back again and refer the customer to this location. What a Great Service. I also like to mention that when I told the manager what a good customer service Mario Gave me over the phone and in person, the manager just said Yeah!!! Really. another thing I notice while he was helping me he was answering the phones and helping me at the same time, the manager, and another guy from the back is more concern about cleaning then customer service, or answering the calls, knowing that he was busy. I had done 25+ years in customer service and this is one of the best employees you have working for Carquest, Mario Collado Thank you for your great customer service.

I was returning some break parts , he helped me get them out of my trunk and gave me a refund to my debit card. He was a outstanding employee.. Hello-

I visited your store on New Bern Ave. today in Raleigh.I attempted to explaing my problem-all my tail lights went out on my Sprinter- and I thought it had to be a fuse. Your associate said it had to be the bulbs themselves. He came outside to check and confirmed it to me and I asked if he had a star screwdriver and he opened the trunk to his car and pulled one form his tool box and began to take off the lens to examine which bulbs were bad. Then he went inside to go over the vast amount of bulbs to find the right ones and fit them perfectly. Thankfully, there was another associate there and when a few more customers came in he went back to help his comrade. He kept coming back to help and it made my day as I am not too mechanically inclined in fact not at all. I think his name was Darren- an African-American man. I hope you can recognize a prize employee for what he is.

Your manager at the Baton Rouge Oak Villa Location, Charity, provided excellent customer service. I needed a tampico fiber brush to clean cars for my car rental company, an Avis/Budget center. She went out of her way to get as many of these brushes as she could from different locations. She was friendly and helpful, and kept in close contact about her efforts via email.

The brush I have used for years is part # 21074. If you can find a case of these I'd be interested in purchasing them. I don't care for the plastic bristle brush you have replaced this item with.

Car Quest failed to put my direct deposit in the bank! I cannot find anyone who knows a damn thing about what happened. They keep transferring me to some lady in India that doesn't speak clear English! Who is going to reimburse me for bounced checks? Crazy mickey mouse organization!
