Shameful. I have been a loyal customer for years now and have spent a lot of money at Bradford Exchange. I purchased the Thomas Kinkade night before christmas story house last year and used it a couple times. Opened it this year and used it once. Now it doesn't work at all. No lights, no story, nothing. I call the B.E. help desk knowing that I'd be out of warranty but hoping I could purchase a part or something to make it work again as it's one of my daughter's favorite things about Christmas. I was not looking for a handout but a Fix that I was prepared to pay for. I was told that because it's a year and a month from purchase, there is nothing they can do and that I have to buy the entire $220 dollar item again. For a company that prides themselves on quality, this doesn't seem like it was a priority at all. I'll no longer purchase any items from this "company".

Yrs ago I started buying 3 different types silver coins. They kept charging me but not sending most of the coins. I called they said they will keep charging me and when they get the coins they'll send them. They said they did not have the coins, I said stop charging me until you catch up om my items. I was owed 3 at that time. They kept charging me and by time they still owed me 7 coins I canceled my card so they would stop charging me. Then then sent me invoice saying I owe them. I called several times and wrote several times. They said they would fix it and send me the coins. Months later no coins and more invoices and then started texting me and called my boss. I'm sick of Bradford exchange. Worst company I've ever dealt with. They charged me for all these coins I never received, promise to fix it but never do then have the nerve to say I owe them.

I ordered a Freedom Chopper Cuckoo Clock in September 2023 from the Bradford Exchange online for $165.00, paid for it through my PayPal account, it was delivered to me in October 2023 . The package had another persons name above my address, no problem. After contacting customer service they informed me that my credit card declined the charge. I asked them for the last four digits of the card and informed them it was not mine. Then they assigned my name to the persons account whose name was on my package and they demanded $271.00 for the clock. After sending my PAYPAL transaction and a copy of my credit card statement showing the Bradford Exchange transaction they still refuse to acknowledge my purchase.Now November 2023 the clock stopped working I contacted customer service , they sent me a return label I shipped the clock back, now they informed me they will not replace my defective product unless I pay them, the Bradford Exchange is a fraud company to deal with.

I placed a order for checks online but the payment was never entered so I called customer service 3 reps told me that online order was not showing up so we did a order over the phone.i received a email showing 2 orders I called within 5 minutes after placing that order was told that online order cancelled out the 2nd order I said I want to cancel the 28.99 order.On November 2nd they charged 22.03 and 28.99 to my debit.On the 6th they charged another 21.91 and 28.86.As a result this has put my account in the negative and bounced 2 other checks.I called they stated they needed to do that to make sure the money was in my account to be honest they did that on Novemver 2nd.Im on Disability my bank is holding 101.80 over 1 box of checks cause it's pending since November 2nd.Please fix the problem.Ive ordered checks before and never has this happened and this will be my last order.Thankyou

It is indicative of this company that the cash is taken from banks long before delivery of the order. If it sounds like a s..m it probably is.

I placed an order in June for a ring for a wedding. Your company claimed it would be arriving by Sept 11 on back order. I called Aug 21st to get a tracking number and find out if it was shipped. A employee told me it was being prepared for shipping and should be received by Aug 25th. Today Aug 25th I called your company and asked for details to be told that the other person I talked to was incorrect and that estimated shipping would be by Sept 26th. The wedding is Sept 16th thats why it was critical for it to come by Sept 11th. I asked to speak to a supervisor just to be told "no" that it wouldn't be ready til Nov 26th I don't understand the obsurd and ridiculousness bad customer service your company has showed. Just to be told sorry and They will send a $25 voucher. Its bad enough we will not have the ring but the audacity of the employees that show no care and little help

I ordered a subscription plan for a train. I started receiving the train in December. I was charged the proper of 1/3rd payment. 2nd in January, 3rd in February. I recieved #2 train car and was charged 1st payment in March, 2nd in April and 3rd in May on May 3rd. I was immediately charged again on May 5th for the third car. I signed up for the subscription because it inferred that it was one payment each for three months. I complained and the customer service jerk is telling mr that he's going to change and charge me full price and send out the cars once a month. This is NOT what I signed up for. I have bought numerous items from Bradford Exchange and hav3 been a good customer. This person ruined it. I've informed him that he is not to send the remaining cars out once a month and renin on the contract.

I have been a customer of Bradford Exchange Checks for many years. I am no longer going to support this business. I had placed an order for checks and they sent me a paper saying I needed to send that back with correct information or they would cancel the order. So I didn't send it back. I ordered another set of checks again and two days later I had contacted them as I had to get me a new account and debit card from being hacked. They told me that I was too late and couldn't have it changed. THEN, I got on my banking and saw that they ended up charging me for TWO DIFFERENT ORDERS! They still processed the first order even though they said they wouldn't if I didn't send it back. They wouldn't refund me anything. I will be telling everyone what a rip off they turned out to be

I bought my first idem from Bradford exchange for Christmas, 4 weeks later get a charge for $14.95. Call to get a reason, seemed somehow without me knowing I joined a free trial for a month. did not cancel in time. I can get my money back if I want to spend the next three days gathering all the paper work needed for a refund. I will never buy from Bradford exchange again.

I brought the Disney Calendar subscription plan. The main part is supposed to light up. I sent it back because it only worked for a couple weeks then died. They sent back another that also only worked shortly and stopped. It also was a used one because the tiny tiny screws to hold the part to hang it fell out. Now I need another replacement but I want a brand new one not another broken one. Who do I call. There customer service is useless.

Now lets see what you can do, to help me.
I placed an Ordered for A Meow-y Christmas To All Caroling Kitten Tree. The Christmas Tree is White, it has Red & Green Balls on the Tree with Led Lights. It also has a Star on Top of the Tree. The 3 Kittens are sitting on the floor in front of the Tree. All the Kittens have Gold Halo's on, they also have wings as well. The Tree plays songs, the Kittens Sings to the Music. I bought that in Sept.??? When I got the Table Top Ornament, it was the wrong one, So I told them it was wrong one, they did send me a Return Labels, I did send it back to the Company. They told me again, that they mailed me the table Top Ornament
that's on it's way. When I opened it, you'll never guess what, They sent me the same one that I sent to them. Then I also Bought a Family BirthStone Bracelet that has 8 Names on it. I bought that one, I did receive it, but it has no Names on the Bracelet. I e-mailed them telling them I got the Bracelet, but no names beside each Birthstone, then I did get the Second one, it has names on this one, I bought another One, so that would give me 3 Birthstone Bracelet. I think it was at the end of Sept???. I kept on telling them I need these, Bracelet, I have to mail it out. Now I don't know if I'm going to have them in time for Christmas.

Your Company messed up Twice on the Table Top Caroling Christmas Tree.
Then Your Company tells me that the Family Bracelet, was cancelled on Oct 25th, which it was their Mistake. I told them I should get My Money Back but still mail me the Table Top and the Family BirthStone Bracelet.

Maybe I should write on Face book, to see if anyone else has had this much problem. Like I said, I never have so much Trouble.

Also could you please send me a Return Bill, that I get This Wrong order back to you.

Also I'm hard of hearing, I cannot hear over the Phone.

So lets see what's going to happen.

Worst experience ever will never buy from them again. They took 420. Out of my account in 30 days. Totally miss leading. I got 3 little dream catchers that look like they are worth 10. Each. I will not recomend to anyone. Such a ripoff. I'm so mad. Who can afford this.

After my refund has been issued, I want to be removed from any all correspondence. This is the worst company and does not know what customer service. I did the orders that were placed were by accident after following Bradfords direction. I requested that the orders be canceled immediately ( per the directions layed out your site to cancel a order) I do still have my electronic copy of date and time of email but the email was not responded to and the charges processed thru my bank leaving me over $400.00 Overdrawn. I call immediately when I saw the charges this morning. I was told that the order could not be canceled and that the products would arrive in 7 9 days and that I would have to send back and get my refund once Bradford received the products back and they would issue the refund.

In the mean time I am sitting for approx 14 to 18 day $400.00 overdrawn 28 days before Christmas and with A house payment and other bills.

My money is being held by fraud without my permission since your company was informed within 10 minutes of the mistake. And you still chose to take my money and hold it,,,,,

Not happy with the chain. The price was expensive, but very cheap material. I always thought that The BRADFORD EXCHANGE was nothing but the best, for the price.

Horrible customer service department...my order was delayed and when I checked the updated shipping date it was when we were going to be away for a month..I called customer service 4 times and tried to explain that I needed to give them a different shipping address or else cancel the order as we would not be at the original address during to the over a month shipping delay on their part...Each time I called I had to re-explain the situation...each time they said they needed to transfer me to another department..each time I ended up being disconnected... On my last attempt I ask to speak with a supervisor... after which I was again disconnected...Don't order anything from this company!

You should consider closing your operation in London Ontario! Customer service is just something I had never experience in my life before. No answer to your e-mail, no explanation about your case, links they provide you for return documents can not be open, links to contact customer service don't work since nobody calls you back, etc.
Very, very disappointed with Bradford Exchange in Canada. Never ever I will order anything again.

I ordered checks with a Customer Service Representative by the name of Carlos from Jamaica. He was so rude and was quoting prices that were not on the form I received from Rob Rodgers, Director, Bradford Exchange Checks. He charged for services that he claimed were mandatory. I called a Customer Service Representative Supervisor after conversing with Carlos, and I had to ASK if the matter was going to be taken care of since I don't work for Carlos, nor the Bradford Exchange Checks Division. I didn't feel satisfied that anything would be done. Another legitimate matter is the amount of state tax I was charged for the state of Pennsylvania. It was totally incorrect! Carlos would not change it.
This company has become so large that they don't care what type of customer service is provided.

This company has really gone downhill! I ordered a beautiful Corvette ring for my boyfriend, and what I got was an ugly piece of junk! The design wasn't even the same and it was very cheap looking! I emailed customer service and even sent them comparison pictures of my ring and the ring that was advertised. They could care less! I just hope I can get my money back. I mailed the package yesterday so we'll see. I've purchased many things from this company in the past and they've always been great! Not anymore! I will never buy anything from them again and I'll make sure that my family and friends don't, either!

My order was delivered to the wrong address last week. I have been trying to get in touch with you through email. I have not lived in that city for 6 years I have purchased plenty of items in between. I either need a refund or I need the item from the address that they shipped to.

I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated by your staff in Customer service... I worked in retail and policy was always satisfy the customer first .. Well first off I ordered a promise ring when I recieved it there was a stone missing and my name was engraved wrong spelling... So they have a family ring I wanted so I ask them could they just take the money that I already paid for the promise ring which was more than family ring and they would have profits from it .. if they could just put money on family ring and send it instead and I'll send promise ring back cuz to me it's worthless.. NO WE CANT DO THAT..So ok refund my money NO We have to send back to credit card mind you the money had been taken off my credit card for sum time .. Well I know longer have that credit card due to someone taken my money... I don't bank with them at all.. So I get told to bad we have to send money to that bank then they have to refund you.. ARE YOU SERIOUS .. YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE A HIGH END COMPANY AND CANT EVEN SEND MY REFUND TO MY HOUSE CUZ I NO LONGER HAVE THAT BANK ANYMORE.. I am expressing my feeling on a phone call i made to purchase checks from Bradford and the young lady Amoy i spoke to collected my information and proceeded . I asked of the total cost which was extremely high so I declined and asked for my info. to be removed. She told me it was now Mandatory for me to purchase I believe the cover of the items. I refused and said it is not mandatory, and she said I would be billed . I informed her I would notify my bank and the B.B.B. she said good bye with no regard . I truly am disappointed in this service I have ordered many times from Bradford on other items and Never experienced this type of verbal nonsence. I can't believe this Company would try to force a purchase from a Customer.

Misleading information on my order was told I would receive item when ordering my checks .I paid all upfront over phone.Called last week lady looked up my order said; give it another week you don't get it .So I called today .Now I am not getting my item I didn't pay for that item ?Now they can take they're Dream Catcher Checks back ,Check book leather cover ,return labels coin purse (cosmetic bag ) is what I been waiting on. This is really very scary if I have trouble with them I will never use them again. They have nice products, it would be nice forthem to strengthen their customer service skills and take care of people in a timely manner. I just purchased my 1st item but if I have a problem that's it.

I have a few words to say about this company. I've worked for them as a customer service representative, and left the company for a number of reasons, not least of which was their bad business ethics.

First of all. I collect stuff, and I like high quality merchandise (tools, clothes, whatever). I understand the value of paying more for something that is clearly better than something that costs less. Pay more money for a nice shirt, and you just might get a shirt that wears better, lasts longer, and looks nicer than the shirt that costs less. This is not so with the Bradford Exchange. With this company, you are paying more money for less. Everything that you can get from Bradford Exchange is available somewhere else for less money better quality. This only applies to the stuff that Bradford sells but is available through other retailers. There's plenty of stuff sold through Bradford Exchange that is exclusive to them, and I guarantee that this exclusive merchandise is also low quality. We're talking about reproductions of canvas art prints that light up with LEDs, sculptures that have other artwork printed on them, circulated coins that have stickers of Obama fastened to them thus making them "limited edition" and therefore worthy of a high price tag. None of this stuff is low-priced, but all of it is very cheap. Go ahead and buy that nice shirt because it just might give you that extra value, but none of Bradford's products are worth their dollar value. I mean absolutely none. And think of the target market of this company, based on the kinds of customers who would call into me with orders or concerns: Senior citizens on fixed incomes who wanted to spend their pension checks on something nice. This was one of the reasons I quit the company. I hated selling stuff that has absolutely no value. Not functional, not collectible, nothing. I hated selling junk, and that's what this company sells. And I hated selling this stuff to people who are likely to get ripped off. I hated preying on the elderly.

Next, I absolutely have to mention the horrendous customer service policy this company has. Yes, you can return your product for a 100% refund, free of shipping. Yes, if your personalized item is broken or done incorrectly, you can get a replacement free of charge and keep the broken/incorrect item you received. That sounds like a lot, but as far as customer service goes, that's not enough. Christmas guarantees with this company mean absolutely nothing other than a refund of your money or a cancellation of your order. The item you ordered that was guaranteed for Christmas has just gone on backorder and it's one week before Christmas? Don't expect to get any notification about this so that you can figure out a backup plan for your kid's/relative's Christmas gift. This goes beyond the extent of Bradford's customer service policy (again, not reaching nearly far enough, in my opinion). And while it's not the end of the world if you don't get it by Christmas, you are absolutely right to expect to receive it by Christmas, and if you don't get it by Christmas, you are absolutely right to expect some form of compensation that goes beyond a refund or more crappy merchandise. You are also absolutely right to expect a notification if your item has gone on the list of backorders that will not be arriving for Christmas. Unfortunately, the only consolation that Bradford Exchange can offer you is free shipping and sometimes a discount on more of their other items (read previous paragraph on why this is not desirable compensation). Again, here's another reason I left the company. I didn't like ripping off customers, even if it wasn't actually me that was doing it. I didn't like being the hand of the thief who reached into your pocket and took your cash.

More on customer service. Customer: "I got this train set for my kid, I paid $89.95 for it, but I only got one piece. Where's the rest of it?" Me on the phone: "Unfortunately sir, that was $89.95 for one piece of the train. There are 22 pieces in total. It will cost you at least $449.75 to have a train that works, and $1978.90 to have the complete train. And it will take you almost two years to get the whole train unless you pay for all of the pieces right now. I can take your credit card number if you're ready." What's with this marketing? Although it does sort of indicate on the website that the prices for train sets are on individual cars and not the whole train, why are the descriptions of the items designed to trick people into thinking that those prices are for whole sets of trains? As ridiculous as this sounds, I would consistently get phone calls every day from customers who thought they were getting the whole set when instead they only paid for one piece. And the customer's reaction to the reality of the situation and the full price of what the customer was expecting was always the same: Shock and disgust, both of which were reactions that I sympathized with. Moreover, many customers had no idea they had actually subscribed to ordering the series, so within a month they were shipped another piece of the set and had their credit or debit cards charged with the bill. Ever had your bank account overdrawn, or had your credit card charged on the day that you needed to pay the rent? If you've ordered from Bradford Exchange, you probably have, and if you haven't yet, you probably will soon. Another reason I left this company. I hated responding to customers who had been tricked or lied to by my company. I hated wrecking people's finances with tricky marketing.

I've worked customer service before. I've dealt with customers who have put money on the line, not gotten what they wanted, and became very upset. In the past I've always felt that I did the best I could to help my customers, that there was a way I could fix their issues and offer them the service they wanted at a price they could afford. Not with Bradford Exchange. This company is designed to trick people into spending their money on high-priced, low-quality merchandise. It targets people who are in need: Elderly persons with low income, families who desperately need Christmas gifts, veterans who served their country, and all other people who are in an emotional state that precludes them towards spending money. Isn't this basically what every company does? Yes, to some extent. But Bradford Exchange is much more insidious. Take my advice, do not learn the hard way. This is not a business you want to deal with.
